"Went to the Dixon, Illinois store. Had a tire losing air. The associate said he would go "look" at it. He went outside and returned in just a couple of minutes. He told my son that he didn't "see" a leak, and that we could go home and spray it with soapy water and look for the leak ourselves. I have never had a service tech say something like that. There were two cars in the bays, and he said if we wanted it pulled in and looked at, it would be about an hour and a half. I called the Princeton store and my son explained to the associate there what had just happened. He told us if we could get to Princeton by 5:30, he would be happy to check it out for us. As we got into our car, other associates were backing out both cars, and there were no other vehicles in line. We drove the 33 miles from Dixon to Princeton. (Mind you, gas was $4.10 per gallon.) The Princeton associate found that we had a leaky valve stem and replaced it. Long story short, don't go to Dixon Walmart's auto care center. Their associates always seem to be rude also."
