"This Apartment is now Owned by someone new. so now the rice of the apartment has gone up expeditiously used to be around $950 - $1150 max but now they try to charge $1500 above for an apartment that is no where near luxury. The maintenance staff are bad, they charge you for things that are the apartments fault. they also barely do their job correctly. my toilet has been getting clogged back to back for months now & they have yet to fix or change the toilet. a lot of things has been going wrong at The Gibson Apartments for a while now, that's why i see about 10 tenants leave every 2 weeks due to bad maintenance & outrageous rise is rent."
"I’ve been living at this apartment for roughly 2 months and here is HONEST review. Let’s start off with the positive comments. 1. I never have a parking issue. 2. Yes the trash overflows but I saw this even in Katy apartment 3. The maintenance men are really helpful and there’s a fast turn around for repairs! So thank you maintenance men! 4. It’s a pretty quiet community and the gates are shut 5. Spacious units and they put new hardwood floors in my unit Now for the issues I’ve seen/experience 1. Roaches when I moved into my apartment I saw some massive roaches. Although, the exterminators came I still experienced this problem. However, I came across a home remedy for exterminating them and it worked! I haven’t seen roaches for over a month 2. The renovations are not bad but not the best. For example I was expecting new table tops because mine has exposing nails and wood that’s been etching away. Also, cabinets aren’t aligned and little stuff here and there 3. Stove didn’t work however the maintenance man came and fixed it the next day 4. Lastly, I have to admit my upstairs neighbors are insanely loud and they will play basketball in the unit at any time of the day even at midnight which makes it insanely hard to sleep when I have work at 5:30am. If it’s possible to switch units I’m now willingly to pay the fee which I believe is around 200-600 dollars Overall, my apartment isn’t better than the one in Katy but what can you expect when you pay less. Besides how noisy my upstairs neighbors are I’ve came to love my apartment I just really wish I could move to another open unit so I can actually get some sleep. 3.5/5 stars"
"They marked my service request as completed but they have not done any to fix the problem. The shower knob in the master bedroom still runs hot water regardless of which direction I turn the knob. It has been about a week since I submitted the service request."
"DO NOT MOVE HERE! I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE HERE! first off the office personnel SUCKS. Araceli Hernandez is a hispanic lady who is prejudice and only looks out for her race. She is a egotistical, pompous, arrogant, most non desirable, scariest, office worker who should be working at planet fitness instead of leasing apartments. She is definitely not fit or qualified to do this job. The parking here is ridiculous. there is not enough parking available for this apartment community. Some tenants have 3 or 4 cars per apartment which causes problems. They offer reserved parking spaces for 25 dollars per space. That idea was great at first, but tenants still take it upon themselves to park in your reserved space. The towing company is a joke. You call the number posted on the sign and all you get is a voicemail then it automatically hangs you up. The trash is a problem. The trash bins are not big enough for this community, so when the trash containers are full tenants leave trash outside of the containers. On the weekends the trash blows everywhere, under cars, all over the complex which causes big NYC RATS!! This community at one point was taken over by big RATS. Rats where everywhere. Everyday there is a water leak at different buildings at different times of the day causing major inconveniences. Please take this review serious. There are several apartments available because people realize what's going on and moving out. They are letting anybody move in because they are desperate for tenants. The pool is always closed, and when it is open its over crowded by tenants who have no respect and abuse the property. Like I said before DO NO MOVE HERE. Lived here 7 years and this community has gone all the way down, while rent has gone all the way up. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!"
