"Instead of Songbird Lane Antiques this should be called Bully Boulevard Antiques!... this Rick Turner is your typical small town big guy bully.. all bark and no bite! He came at me violently for parking on 6 inches of grass along the driveway there at Songbird Lanes in front of kids that were 10, 11 and 12 years old two of which that had lost their mom (my sister)not long before this to breast cancer and he knew this.. I had lost my mom unexpectedly just weeks before he did this to me and the kids, he came at me violently over 6 Inches of grass.. I didn't want to be there to begin with because I've always known what a loudmouth bully this guy is but I was obligated to be there .. the only people he scared that day was the kids because I knew he was all bark and no bite the first time I met him.. and then of course he wouldn't back his mouth up when there were no kids around .. he's got an adorable smile when he wants to sell you one of his antiques other than that he's your typical small town big guy bully.. all bark and no bite!.. not long before he came at me and the kids the landowner next to Songbird Lanes had some kids clearing branches out of the edges of the Fields so they could plant crops, the kids got the side by side stuck and this Rick Turner went and violently cussed these kids out. They didn't even have to get a truck or anything to get it unstuck , it was just kids being kids .. they were able to push it out by hand but this guy had to feel like a tough guy and cussed the kids out scaring the heck out of them because he's three times bigger than them. He never apologized to them because he successfully bullied them! Guys like him only apologize when they're bullying doesn't work .. I knew what this guy was about the first time I ever met him and I knew it was just a matter of time and it's playing out exactly how I knew it would.. all bark and no bite!! He's been a bully his whole life now he's in his 60s (which makes me look like the bad guy) and he can't quit it..DONT PARK ON HIS GRASS... he's harmless, all bark bully but he will scare the kids!.. embarrassing pitiful example of a man, good thing he doesn't have any kids of his own"
"Love this place! Nancy and Rick have truly shared their passions!"
"Lots of cool stuff to look at. There is something for everyone's taste. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. My wife loves their candles. I'll admit, they do smell good."
"One of my favorite places I’ve visited so far! It was a 40 minute drive from Bettendorf and totally worth it. I went on a day they were having a fall festival and so glad I did! Great prices on pumpkins, antiques and so many cute photo op spots! Whether you’re passing through or making a day trip, I definitely recommend!"
"LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. The owner is so super sweet and friendly. They carry an extensive line of quality primitives . Tons of stuff, but it's displayed so nicely that it does not come off as overwhelming. It's in our "Top 3" favorite shops in the Midwest. This is one I plan to return to again and again."
