"Had a wonderful experience there , as usual. The food is always amazing, and the service prompt. Our water glasses would barely be half empty, and they would be refilled. Our server was a beautiful young lady named Hannah. She was polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. Our appetizers were timed perfectly, as was the salad and the main course. Did I mention the food is amazing? It is an excellent experience that I could not recommend highly enough. It's worth the drive from where you are. You will not be disappointed."

"If you want the best Steak in Illinois and most likely Iowa, look no further. Their fillet is so freaking tender it cuts like butter. The flavor is beyond words. Hands down one of the best steaks I've ever had. I've eaten at some Prime Steak Houses that don't compare to The Celler. Don't expect a super fancy place inside. It's a bit outdated, but don't let that stop you. The prices is reasonable for the quality you get. You can dress up if you like or go in your jeans. You won't look out of place. The service is also top notch here. Fast Friendly and very attentive. If you aren't in the mood for a steak, their chicken breast is great. My wife also loves their salmon. You will not leave hungry!"

"Table of 6, celebrating 2 birthdays, seated at too small a table. Waitress was extremely aggressive with us from the start. She repeatedly SHOVED our food, drinks, plates around to make room for her "to do her job". She was short & curt with us. One drank coffee & asked for creamer & waitress replied, "well I didn't know you wanted it"! She never asked. We almost left. Steaks were undercooked. Medium filet was still cool, bright red & hard to chew. Medium well filet had to be sent back & still was too red. Used to be one of our favorite "special" restaurants to eat. Might not go back."

"My husband took me to The Cellar for Mother’s Day! It was Fabulous! They have the freshest salad with amazing garlic or green goddess dressing. Their cheese spread appetizer is one of a kind! They serve a unique and out of this world charbroiled shrimp dinner! We can’t wait to return!"
