Country Club Apartments 3304 Fairway Drive, Wharton, TX 77488

"I recently helped a young couple move in to the Country Club Place apartments in Wharton, Tx. I am appalled that the leasing office could in good faith & good conscience think that this unit is in acceptable, safe & clean enough condition for anyone to move in to ! But for this leasing office to think the unit is a decent, safe & clean home for an infant - is just wrong ! The floors are warped, the carpet is filthy with stains that did not come out after the management shampooed & it’s just noticeably frazzled & worn from being 15-20 years old. The lock on the front door is hanging by one screw because the door & door jamb are too rotted to hold the lock & inset in place, this is a danger & risk to this young couple & their infant’s safety. The electrical set up is a whole other story of an inadequate & an unsafe environment, lamp & ceiling fan cords running everywhere and attached on the exterior of the drywall & ceiling. The balcony is structurally unsafe as the iron beams are rusted and coming detached from the building. These are just things I saw when I helped this couple move in. I may need to call ABC chancel 13 news to come investigate this because this is just wrong on so many levels !"
