"I lived at La Sierra for one year and never had any issues. Management was always quick to answer and if any issues arose in the apartment they fixed them in a timely manner. I enjoyed my time here and really did love my apartment. I would recommend them."

"Before I moved into the apartments, it was endless trouble speaking to Darlene. She was rude & was not helpful when it came to helping or answering my questions. I was moving to NB for school & was leaving my home & family, so I didn’t know what to expect, & Darlene made the moving-in experience horrible. Thankfully, Brandi, was able to help me & she made me feel welcomed, but she sadly went to another location. I will add, many prior residents have mentioned that their main reason leaving is because of how rude Darlene is. In the beginning she’s nice, but once you’re there a couple months, she becomes rude. In my experience, she was rude to me from the beginning & even worse towards the end of my lease. I couldn’t ask questions about my security deposit or anything in general because I swear, everything bothers her. No point in being an apartment manager if you drive away the residents. In July 2022, my upstairs neighbor had a leak that flooded my kitchen. The tiles were lifted up because of it & I mentioned to maintenance & was told he would take care of it. I moved out August 2023 and the tiles were NEVER taken care of. I was only given a form in roughly May/June 2023 to have them replaced but was pointless since I was going to be leaving within a couple weeks. There are many areas of the community that smell like skunk along with my apartment & outside the building smelling like weed, which management was informed. Don’t think anything was ever done because the smell got so strong, my entire apartment would smell like it inside my place & it happened many times. There is also so much poop on the ground & i’ve seen people not pick up after their animals, & this caused my dog to get very sick. When moving in, I was told it was a gated community but, the front gate only worked for about a month or two then stopped working up until 8/15/23. Took them almost two years to fix the gate. ANYONE was able to come in & out of the area, which, in my opinion, defeats the purpose of a “gated” community. There were many times I wished I could have left these apartments for another, but being extremely busy in school, it was just too much to do alone. Thankfully, I was able to once I finished school. Don’t get me wrong, they’re renovating the apartments, they power wash the sidewalk here & there, but the management isn’t the best. Majority of my encounters with Darlene were horrible, & I always hated having to call the office to ask a question because I knew she would not want to help me at all. Robert, on the other hand, is very kind and caring. I would go to the office when I knew it was just him because I wanted to avoid Darlene being rude to me."

"Great experience at La Sierra. Darlene was helpful from the beginning of our stay until the end of our stay. When we first moved In, our apartment was not move in ready but Darlene quickly fixed the issue and gave us credit towards the next months rent. James is very quick to fix any maintenance issues that we ever had. The staff at La Sierra is very friendly and always eager to help. The apartment is very family and pet friendly. Definitely would recommend this apartment complex for anybody new to the area. 10/10 experience, never had any issues that weren't quickly addressed. Darlene and James always ensured we were always satisfied and taken care of throughout our stay."
