"THE LADY NAMED KATRINA, PROMISED THAT IF I DIDN'T HAVE A PAST RENTAL PROBLEM THE APPLICATION WOULD GO THROUGH, IF NOT I COULD HAVE A COSIGNER. THE PROBLEM IS IT COSTS $200, SHE WAS VERY GOOD AT GETTING YOU TO PUT UP $200, BY LYING AND DECIEVING MY SON AND I, THEN IT TOOK ANOTHER 7 DAYS TO DENY IT, BELIEVE 10 PEOPLE APPLY, DENY THEM ALL. $2000 WEEK."
"Gate is just for show, it never worked the whole year I was there and no one was ever there to work on it. None of the owners pick up after their dogs. There is poop literally everywhere. $600 deposit for pet and monthly fee? But there's only two stations for poop bags, but never any poop bags. Lady who sits in that office RUDE. Don't bring up anything that involves her to think. Don't expect her to help out with solutions that are not your problem, because she will make it your problem. I couldn't turn in my keys because they aren't open the day I move out. "well you're going to be charge, take a lunch break" and basically figure it out. Oh and randoms living in apartments and it took staff how long to realize it?? Literal crackheads hanging out in the apartment complex.. but you know maybe if the gates worked.. Truly so happy to be out of a place like that."
"Negatives: Laundry rooms are often trashed or machines are out of order. It costs $1.59 per washer run and $1.59 per dryer run too. Attached photos are laundry room by building 11, taken on 04/10. Pool hasn’t opened yet. Dog park is nice enough, but people let their dogs free roam poop without picking up and it doesn’t seem like there’s anyone working the grounds and cleaning up as there’s also trash everywhere. There’s also always stacks of mattresses next to a dumpster. No idea why, but it’s real ugly and gross. In the apartments there are no lights in the living rooms or bedrooms. There are light switches but they don’t seem to be connected to anything. If you get a two bedroom, the second bedroom is tiny. Wish there had been measurements on the website for each space. There are cops here a lot, but I’ve never seen anything bad so not sure what types of calls they are here on, but I also mind my business. Positives: 2 bedroom- living/dining/kitchen space is nice and spacious. The carpet seems well taken care of and I believe it’s changed between residents. The balcony is huge and spacious and if you don’t have laundry outside but have storage instead, the storage is also spacious. The small woods outside are really nice and are probably my favorite thing. There’s lots of birds and squirrels so you don’t completely feel like you’re in the middle of city. There’s always enough parking too. Maintenance guys are real nice and so are the ladies in the leasing office, Allie and Nikki I believe. They’re very helpful and friendly every time I’ve gone to see them. The last place I lived was nicer (Axis Hamilton until March 2022), but the leasing office wasn’t. Sometimes things do take a while to get done, but everything I’ve requested wasn’t high priority. Other people below have mentioned people speeding, since I moved in at the beginning of March 22, I haven’t seen that at all. Again, dog park is nice and spacious with activities and benches. Gym is nice and accessible, although small. The rates of rent aren’t horrible, especially compared to everywhere else right now with rent spikes. The walls are thick enough that you can’t really hear your neighbors too much which is also nice. Overall, I’d rate this place as a 5.5 out of 10."
