"Gina and Dr Carpenter are amazing. But God forbid you should need to actually see them. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get an appointment. Online scheduling directs you to call. When you call it rings for about 5 minutes before it takes you to an incredibly long phone tree. The phone tree doesn't have an option for scheduling an appointment. Eventually you'll pick a random option just to try to get through. If anyone ever answers they'll be annoyed you aren't calling the right extension. And inevitably either "someone will call you back" (they won't), or they'll just hang up on you. Unreal. We can't ever seem to see her doctor when our daughter needs them. Two years of this now. We are so done with this practice"
"Has been my pediatrician for many years. The staff is fabulous and helpful and the doctors are all wonderful no matter if we've seen our regular doctor or one of the others if purs was booked."
"We really liked Dr. Brown but she was always very hard to get booked with! Our last appointment got cancelled a week prior due to a family emergency (which I totally understand) , however there were minimal efforts to get us back in at all. The soonest reschedule appointment available was a month out and only with a P.A . I then had a future appointment scheduled for Dr brown for my baby’s future round of shots and made it known that I would have to take her elsewhere in the meantime because of the lack of scheduling with a dr and it putting her behind on her shots when she has to get them so frequent but they assured me that this would be no problem and went ahead and scheduled her future appointment. Fast forward to a few weeks before her upcoming appointment I look in her portal to double check the time and notice there are no future appointments shown. So I call multiple times as it was hard to get a hold of someone and when I finally was taken off hold 3 calls and 30 minutes later she tells me there is a red flag on my account and that the front desk cancelled my appointment without my knowledge. I ask why and they respond telling me that it’s because I took my daughter somewhere else ( which they already had told me would be okay and proceeded to help me schedule a future appointment). So I am very frustrated as it’s always hard to get in on the schedule and they tell me that I have been discharged from the practice and I would be considered a new patient if I would like to return. Oh and also my dr is leaving the practice which I was also never notified of. They told me if I would like to return that she couldn’t allow me to be rescheduled unless I leave a voicemail for the nurse of the dr I would like to be seen by to ask for permission for my daughter to be a patient of hers. I thought this was weird since my daughter had already seen this dr once but as I was worried about her getting her shots on time yet again I went ahead and let her forward me to the nurse’s voicemail to leave this weird and embarrassing message asking if they will allow me to be a patient of that dr. Weeks went by and I never received a return call. We will not be returning to this office."
"When we first started going here it was good. Dr Carpenter is still good. The problem is with the front desk. On my way for my daughters appointment the weather was awful. I called and said I may be a few minutes late. I was informed I have a 15 minute grace window or anything after will have to be rescheduled. I arrive at 9:23am (appointment at 9:15am). Upon entering the office I find out they have moved locations. No mention of this on the phone OR their automated confirmation phone call the day before. I hurry to the new location down the road. I arrive at 9:41am. One of the ladies there tells me I will have to reschedule. I promptly tell her I was not made aware of their location change and I haven’t been there in 6 months. She argues with me saying they had posted signs. Great way of making sure all your patients know about a huge ordeal such as that. She continues to fight me about it as I keep asking for her supervisors. Finally get the office manager who seems to be more understanding and deescalates the situation. Says they will get us in the next available room. Me and my 2 yo daughter don’t leave till 12:30. All this fight and wait and even if I was on time I’d still be waiting forever. Customer service is a lost art."
"Love this office! Dr. Carpenter is kind and thorough, and I love that she talks to the patient rather than the parent. She teaches young kids early on to advocate for their bodies and their health. She has a very calm and reassuring demeanor, and is patient and detail oriented during the appt, so you never feel rushed. You also don't wait long, as the office stays on schedule. The staff is very organized and friendly. I particularly love that this office only sees patients who are immunized. I wish I had found them sooner!"
