Reviews of Peanut Factory Lofts
"The elevator has been broken for well almost 3 months. The owners should be embarrassed that they have left us without an elevator through the holidays. I had to cancel my disabled family members' Christmas visit as they had no way to access my unit. It feels like they are breaking ada regulations and code for this building by not fixing it. Please, someone from code compliance or the city of San Antonio come take a look at this property and the historic building 3. A homeless man was camping out and peeing in front of the elevator and some girl's apartment in building 3. It happened every single night until she had to move out. They never cleaned up the pee or any part of the 1st floor. You can still see his dried pee puddles all over the floor, and it has been well over 6 months. See attached photos. This is the worst community and least professional leasing office I've ever encountered. Living here has taken a drastic toll on my mental and physical well-being. I currently feel stuck and unable to move my large patio furniture, basement storage, or large bedroom furniture out of the building. The elevator was the only way to move those items in, and I was told that the elevator would be available for me to use to move out. Please fix the elevator so I can move out."
"I've had an apartment here since 2020 and it's drastically gone down. My family and I had to sleep in our car one night since the air conditioner stopped working and no one would come fix it and it was HOT. I'm considering breaking my lease. I will not live here for another year. I rarely get my packages and if I do I never get a call or a notification for it or they just send them back and I don't get them at all. In the last month I've seen more and more residents move out. My car was STOLEN and RUDE staff."
"I have lived here a year and I love it. Works orders have been resolved quickly. The pool was down for a bit but so was all the communities around the area. Understandable. due to covid effects on every business. This is a great place and so close to school."
"The property has debris on the grounds. In the past 4 months the pool has been down a total of 3 months. No clear dates nor answers are given. At times the office is closed without rhyme or reason. Rent is extremely high for the space you’re leasing."
"Unfortunately Peanut Factory Lofts is seeing a mass exodus of residents. 13 days of excessive heat and no AC. Emergency maintenance lines are no longer answering their calls and the employees are too overwhelmed to respond to work orders and other life safety matters at the property. Neighbors are having to rehome pets as the conditions are un livable. What was once a well ran building by professional reputable management has quickly turned to slum lord conditions with no sight of turning around. The manager herself said they are in transition and this is why the work order requests for basic fixes are going un answered for the foreseeable future. In a time where the apartment industry is thriving, it is a major red flag to see a building become vacant and ran down when it is hardly 2 decades old. Please look into properties with reputable management companies and ask their policy on emergency works orders before selecting a place to live."
