"I have lived here since 2019 and I love it here. The office staff are absolutely amazing. There has been little mess ups here or there but they make sure to fix the issue very quickly. Emily is so amazing and helpful. Zack is great and does so good at his job. Christa is very good as well. Let me say one of the most AMAZING thing about these apartments is the maintenance. They are so helpful and make sure to come quickly to your needs. I’ve even had one of them come super late at night to fix my heater on a weekend. So my kids and I wouldn’t be in the cold. If I wasn’t moving to Dallas I would definitely stay here."
"RUN!!! Run as far as you can and do not come back. this apartment is absolutely not worth renting. All of the AC units are extremely old and inefficient so you will have your AC down to 65, and it will still be 95 degrees in the apartment IN TEXAS. They will refuse to replace it even if it starts spewing mold/mildew in every vent and in the walls. They will also try to blame you stating that you are running your AC too much or too cold this is a lie and other apartment complex's in the area have AC units that can handle the HEAT without complaint. The internet is abysmal, almost unusable. It's not highspeed and if they try to tell you that they are lying. They will never end this agreement with astound broadband so you will only be allowed to get that internet as long as you live here and if you hate the service good luck breaking your lease to move once they get you locked in. The only thing this place had going for it was that it was CHEAP but now they think that renovating a little in the kitchen justifies almost 1200 in RENT when i can go literally down the street and get a luxury apartment with HIGH SPEED internet and WORKING A/C for the same price. go elsewhere."
"I lived here for over 5 years. The maintenance is stellar and I love the office people. The buildings themselves were built at different times and some are very old and require more than the repainting that managment does between tenants. Building 9 is crawling with roaches, fleas and feral cats. The foundation in my apartment was sagging. There was an overwhelming mold smell in my apt. Large cracks were forming on all doorways. My front door would get stuck with every change in weather and I would have to remove the metal plates on the doorframe so my door wouldn't stick and literally trap me inside. My ceiling was sagging so bad the ceiling fan was off center and swung precariously (clicking the whole time. Couldn't put it above 2nd speed) My a/c circulation was terrible, coldest room in the apt was my bathroom (where the a/c was). Not bad if you don't mind roughing it. Hope you get a new building, because it honestly isn't a bad apt complex overall. But they do not fix up the buildings more than they have to. They are talking about renovation for the apts (excuse to raise rent). My building needed more than new counters in the kitchen."
"Let me start by saying initially I was pretty satisfied living here. As I relish transparency, I will however advise I was deceived by Russ the letting agent. You only get to view a 'model' unit and not the actual unit you end up leasing. Was promised my unit had wood flooring, so on moving day you can imagine my dismal surprise to find carpeting upon unlocking the door. Recently, the complex has been plagued with numerous car thefts and vehicular vandalism. Add to that, package theft and mailboxes broken into. Some large animal pet owners do not clean up after their animals and more concerning, do not have proper control over the animal. I've almost been attacked walking on property twice. This also leads me to mention the complex pathways flood and become extremely slippery due to the mud that slides down due to no retaining structure or drainage. Should the power go out, you will be trapped unable to enter/leave property due to the gates. While gates do have a purpose, they certainly do not protect you from all crime. Maintenance man Bruno is diligent in his duties, although I do not believe he is responsible for pest control. Upon moving in, I was horrified to discover that there is a german cockroach problem here. Naturally I reported by making a Maintenance request. They've honored a couple of the requests however staff have canceled at least 4 pest control requests now. Anyone who has any knowledge on entomology knows you have to keep up with it. Per the lease, apartment staff have the right to enter the units. Units should be systematically treated regardless of whether the tenant requests and I don't mean once a year. Suspect that some tenants may be reluctant to request as they are possibly in violation of their lease."
"I have lived here for years now while I save to buy a house. Every bad review I've read is complete b.s. as pertaining to the whole of the complex. When I first moved in, it was clear previous renters didn't care about their unit. Broken tiles in the kitchen, stogies shoved in the bathroom sink, and a few other things that were found in my first year. Maintenance has ALWAYS been super responsive. They're incredibly kind and do a great job. If I had a complaint. They don't write on the door hangers why they entered your apt or what the result of your maintenance request was - so not a huge deal really. Last summer, the ridiculously hot summer, they worked on my ac unit easily 4 times. Every time, they did it same day and fixed the issue. I know I wasn't the only request or the only daily task needing completed, but they were fantastic. Christa, Emily, Rosie and all others are so sweet and explain anything you don't understand. They are beyond helpful and patient - especially in my personal circumstances and health issues that have been problematic. When I came in to sign a new year, one of the maintenance was sad asking if I was leaving. That's how much they care! Now, while some residents are super nice and helpful, other residents are jerks! I have a Service Dog and am sure to pick up poop. Others are not as caring of where they live or the other people that need to negotiate around the messes they leave behind. Staff, both office and maintenance, do their best to clean up - which is an EXTRA duty they shouldn't have to do, but they do it. I have yet to catch these inconsiderate people who clearly shouldn't own an animal, but they are reported against when caught. When I first moved here it was so quiet and peaceful. But now, there are residents and guests of residents who seem to think an apt complex is where they should show off their terrible car radio system and horrible exhaust. Additionally, the speeding through the complex unnerves me and those people have been reported as well. The office can't co trol these people, it's up to us residents to calmly report repeated issues to policies so the office can actually enforce them. Luckily, office management is quick to rid these people when they find out who they are, or supply them with the proper legal warnings. The Apts are still quiet and peaceful a vast majority of the time and I understand idiots exist no matter where you go. I work nights, so peace and quiet is important to me. Valet trash is convenient, but I rarely use it. It's the idiots who don't follow policy who make it bad. Those people are given warnings and I believe end up paying fees when they're caught. Unsafe environment? No. I am completely comfortable taking my trash out in the middle of the night (I work nights) without fear of being attacked. The complex DOES have security, who drive through regularly, enough that I know their names. The units are not moldy or bug infested. Not once have I had a bug problem - I would lose my mind if I did. If a resident moved in and brought the alleged roaches a previous reviewer speaks of, I guarantee maintenance would be all over that problem before any other request. I have had mildew build up in my bathroom from taking hot showers and not properly venting the bathroom afterward. I cleaned it and made adjustments to my routine and haven't had a problem since. Otherwise, zero leaks, zero mold. All in all, this place is definitely 5 stars all around. Using a bit of logic and understanding goes a long way to an HONEST review. If you've read this far, and you're considering moving here, ask the managers for references of current residents. I'm sure they'd ask some long term residents if they'd be willing to speak with you. Just to note, a simple drive around the complex will tell you several residents have been here for 10+ years. They get their own parking spots. I'm only half way there, but with luck I won't make it 10 years as I'll have a house where I want one. No rush for me. I just hope current management doesn't leave. They're amazing!"
