"I am a new tenant at the Historical Robert E Lee Apartments. My experience, starts with the front Leasing Office Manager, Ms Rodriguez- she was an very kind, professional, who I will never forget, as her management of the property, could not be in better hands. I had to wait, as I was running late on my second meeting - had a chance to meet some of the residents - all spoke nothing but kind words about her and how they love their home- they were all such welcoming residence. I did my walk through..and my apartment is perfect. The original mail slot, to the pictures, and yes the friendly ghost - I am home .. and I am blessed its at the Historical Robert E Lee. Update - Consistent pattern of amazing professional leasing management and head of maintenance- Sam is the kindest approachable person there to make sure your needs are handled as soon as possible. He maintains the property and both Dam and Janis are an awesome team. I say give them a raise.. my words not theirs. I am happy and grateful for my penthouse in the clouds."
"Management and Staff always taking care of business and more !!!"
"I love it here but would love to have security, too many homeless people in and out"
"It used to be a very nice place until haven for hope started using it to dump their drug addicts here, the homeless shelter is using it for transitional housing. In the past two years it’s become increasingly unsafe due to the street people who are being moved into the property. And in addition to that there are also a few elderly people who should be in nursing homes and not here. My brutally honest opinion. The place has addicts standing in front of the building at all hours day and night screaming for the dealers to come and let them in and they also try and force their way in the building as a resident who Pays Rent is coming home from work. The place is known as the GHETTO of Downtown. Ask around and see what you hear. It’s a fact"
"My friend and I applied here 3 months ago, we waited and waited but they never got back to us, until we showed up in person today (4/6/23). The lady said they're waiting for our records before they could accept us, keep in mind we waited for 3 months before she told us this. We waited for another 3 hours before she saw us, then didn't even admit she was falling behind and take accountability."
