"Don't even know where to start. Management has changed, not for the better and the name used to be AXIO APARTMENTS, now it is the IRIS APARTMENTS. No differences have been made, if anything, things have gotten worse and will continue to do so. Take the reviews for this place very seriously, it's not for families or even couples. The roaches are in the apartments (see video), what I mean is that they don't come from outside, we have had traps, and our pest spray used and they still kept on coming back. Word to note, we are clean people, we take out our trash, do the dishes, and keep everything clean. When we first got here they had us assigned to another apartment that had cracked windows and diapers on the lawn with the door open on the day of move-in. We managed to get into another apartment but had to sign a new lease on the spot. AC wasn't working when we moved in, knobs on drawers missing, coils on stoves not working and were replaced with the wrong ones, and the oven temperature was not controllable because the knob was broken. Fire extinguishers have not been inspected in years, just painted over, and fire alarms don't even work, not sure they ever did. Gnats are common, in the freezer, sinks, and anywhere there is moisture. Not all the staff are bad, but the assistant manager or whatever her role is, office to the right second door, is the worst to deal with. She takes everything personally and doesn't know how to separate business from her problems. We went to give our 30 days' notice and she took the paper rudely and signed it and then ripped up our maintenance requests and threw the paper away, so I have attached them here because everyone should know the problems you will deal with as these apartments. Mailboxes don't work here so expect to be dealing with that, packages get lost, I lost a laptop and they said they didn't receive anything only for it to turn up in their office 3 months later. Water heaters don't work well in townhomes, can't even take a 5-minute shower without the water getting cold. Garages are 50/50 you will get something functional, we had to get our remotes for the garage, the hole in the garage was duck taped, and the latter was just replaced with plexiglass which is still a security risk because people can see in. The structure of the apartments is coming apart, the upstairs feels spongy and has gotten progressively worse over the months. The widows leaked with heavy rain (see video), they said it was the ducts and then they said they would put glue but the result is still the same, almost damaged our couch. There have been fatal gunshots here, cars broken into, dogs on no leashes for days on end, and parking is terrible, so if you have more than one car, be prepared."

"My friends and I love this place. Though my friend isn't looking to move in until June. The lady in the front "Mae" was amazing. She was so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely lease because of her customer service."

"The worst apartment complex I have ever been at. 3+ months for a work order to be completed. Work orders being major issues you are having in your apartment such as hot water or AC not working. Paying for a pest control fee when there is no pest control. My apartment has been shot up 4 times and swatted because of a hostage situation. They refused to let me break my lease because I was scared for my safety. Still waiting on hot water for my restroom and still waiting for the office to decide to answer their phone. The people in the office when I go in person are not help and are always changing due to them quitting and hiring new people constantly. I have been living here 2 years so in reality this is my fault for staying at this horrible place this long. DO NOT rent an apartment here."

"I am not in a position to say anything for I am late on my bills. I have read many reviews, and all I say is! Many monthly bills that are required, I have issues such pest control, I pay monthly but no one comes to exterminate so each month there is a payment I don’t get service for. Other than that I have seen different changes with the new owner trying to improve this complex. Other than that I am happy with my apartment. One more thing I have gone to the office, called the office (no answer) so what other number is there. Mail issues, no mail even the USPS website says how many letters I am getting that day, I have yet to receive any. Not in the office or at my local post office. But as I said new owners, I understand trying to fix and fulfill what they can. Time and in due time I know It will get done, thank you IRIS for waiting on my rent."

"Better Business Bureau gave this property a F! Don’t move here!! I moved into this apartment 3 months ago. They stated that the apartment was ready for move in but they lied! The photos below show what they about. Not to mention the apartment style I wanted was not available because it wasn’t ready they said but the one I moved in wasn’t ready either and it was a different style. When telling them they said it wouldn’t be one like my choice ready for another month and I had my stuff ready to move in. Doors put together but nails not holding front and back of door together, drawers have no back, some drawers have no drawer, faucets leak and only Hot water works. The bowl under sink was there when moved in. I have so many photos of a horrible job incomplete. Then 3 maintenance guys came to so call fix. They tap the tools around and say they be back never to return to finish. Look at the photos of what they said is move-in ready!!!"
