"I have been living in student housing complexes around UTSA for 6 years now and by far “Luxx” has been my worst experience. This place is a Scam and deserves a lawsuit for using their name. The rooms are infested with cockroaches, I started to seeing them even in my nightmares."

"Utter unprofessionalism of staff and owner. They will lie to you. They will find little ways of charging you. They violate their term agreement. Elevator did not work almost entirely of my 1 1/2 year stay. Halls were dirty, stariwells were unsafe and not properly lit, will be reporting them for safety violations. They do not take responsibility for their own faults yet expect the tenants to put up with it. Vanness and Hailey in the front are terrible but that goes for more than half the staff, although maintenance people were kind. Do not recommend this place, trust me you can find other places for better price and accommodations. Pool constantly closed or filthy. Gate constantly not functioning. Towing of properly registered residents car is common and they will not pay you back. This place should get shut down. Management is terrible. The list can go on and on, but lastly after leaving they charged me and my fellow tenants for reasons not of our fault but of the luxx’s behalf and still want to make us pay. I will tell everyone I know not to come here. The owner, management, and staff is a joke."

"I moved into the Luxx last semester, and unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. From the very beginning, I encountered issues, starting with the frequent breakdowns of the air conditioning system. The discomfort caused by this ongoing problem has been a constant source of frustration. Moreover, there has been an unsettling rat problem within the premises, creating an unsanitary and unpleasant living environment. Despite bringing these concerns to the management's attention, the issue has persisted, further diminishing my overall satisfaction as a resident. The most recent incident involving towing has been the proverbial last straw. The stringent restrictions on guest parking mean that having friends over is now a logistical nightmare. This policy allows only one guest car, severely limiting social interactions within the community. These collective problems have created an atmosphere of discontent and inconvenience, overshadowing any positive aspects the Luxx might offer. It is disheartening to see the quality of living deteriorate, and it has significantly influenced my decision regarding the renewal of my lease. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for both the management and potential residents considering the Luxx as their home. It's crucial for these concerns to be addressed promptly to ensure a more positive living experience for everyone."

"Do not rent here, if you are a parent looking for an apartment for your child to stay, I highly suggest looking anywhere else! They charge you with fees that are ridiculous, but still cannot fix the elevator, can’t clean the walls of the hall way. This stuff has been here for months and is disgusting. They are money hungry for one. The property manager will speak to you like you are a bother and have someone in the office with her, like it’s some type of interrogation. I do understand that everything is basically provided but it is not worth it. The dorms might be way better than living in this dump."

"Literally probably go anywhere but here. Haven’t even been here a year and have had so many problems. They have security roaming but people’s cars get broken into and/or stolen constantly. It happened to my friend last night. The complex gates never work, ever. They just stay open. If you renew and your roommate doesn’t expect vendors to be able to access your apartment nearly any moment for an entire month and even bring their children to run around in your apartment while they’re there. I understand cleaning and maintenance but there was no reason for me to walk out and see children running around, extremely unprofessional and not something I agreed to. Had pest control come twice to my apartment to address a big problem but it took them a few days to even come out the second time even though it was BAD and both my roommate and I were uncomfortable being there and told them this. And from what I’ve been told many people have pest problems. The pest control didn’t even help I had to go out and buy my own stuff to actually start fixing things. Elevator hasn’t worked in almost 2 months. Pool is only open 4 days a week during 10-5 so if you have work or school you won’t get to utilize it at all. Plenty of parking for visitors but yet I’m never able to find a spot on my building perimeter and have to walk a little bit after parking and considering people’s cars are constantly getting broken into and stolen it doesn’t feel too safe having to do that constantly. Was locked out of my apartment one time (not my fault) and called emergency maintenance, never even heard back. Office hours suck and don’t even have a couple hours open on Saturday so if you need anything your window to get help is very small. I’m hoping to try and terminate my lease early this sucks. Save your money because this complex charges as if they’re luxury and they are very far from it."
