"I’ve been a resident here for almost 3 years. I have signed 2 lease renewals - and would not have stayed if the property, management, and maintenance wasn’t as fantastic as it is! This is an older property on the UTSA corridor, so some of the infrastructure is starting to show its age. I’ve had a few problems in my unit, but am always pleasantly surprised by the attentiveness and courtesy of the maintenance staff. The management has been under Greystar for about a year and a half. The Greystar management is awesome. Very pragmatic and easy to get in touch with. I think some of these reviews from longtime residents that are so low, indicate the change in management and their shift in attention to the property. The previous managers were very “hands-off” and there were times where the property seemed like a “party house” being so close to UTSA. Since Greystar has taken over, there’s been more rules about visitors, parking, and noise complaints. This might be hard for people to get used to who lived here for a long time and tolerated noisy and inconsiderate neighbors. I have a young daughter, and I have never had a single problem with safety or noise."
"We moved into the Highline in February of 2021 and could not have been happier, the property was cleaner, things got taken care of at a timely manner and it was just a great place to live. Maybe a year goes by and a new management company comes (GREYSTAR) and the atmosphere shifted. There is one Maintenance Man on staff who has been there from the beginning, he was an older gentleman and he had made sure we had anything we could take care of ourselves outside our door as soon as we told him, we wish we remembered his name but he deserves 5 stars. Due to moving in and the management switch there were something that were never taken care of in our apartment,we were missing a baseboard by the sliding door our our actual sliding door screen was never out on properly. Little things we could forget about and not really need we didn't care but we had put in request with both companies and nothing. Now the main issue. We've had a MASSIVE GERMAN ROACH INFESTATION for a solid 8 months in like other reviews specifically BUILDING 5 . We had the pest control come multiple times and do the "basic" spray, didn't work. We asked the front office to see if there was anything else they could offer. They suggested a deeper spray which included removing all from the kitchen and cabinets for a stronger spray in hopes of killing the bugs. Keep in mind this is now going on for 3 months and the bugs are now in our appliances and restroom. It worked of course for a few days then they came back X2. At this point aren't wanting to come home due to knowing we will be welcomed to the roaches out and about. Every time we reached out to the office they offered a new spray which was all they could offer without having to fork up their own money for a more intense treatment. We were able to get one of the treatments you have to pay for apparently approved by the main office and it still didn't work. After moving out in February of 2024 for a week into our new place we went back to clean and the bugs were still there and eggs, feces, dead roaches everywhere and in the stove, ice maker, crawling on the carpet. By all means if you want to live with roaches because let's be honest they are complimentary to the purchase of a unit in building 5, or large water leak stains in the Ceiling, the gates always broken, you'll never get some mail bc the mail parcel is always broken into, parking is bad, this is your place to be. "Beautiful complex, absolutely love the complex and all amenities. Beautiful landscaping and friendly staff. My one and only issue is, if you plan moving into building 5 absolutely be warned of your roommates. I keep an extremely clean house but I’ve still been treating my apartment for german roaches for the past 6 months I've lived here and still end up killing at least 6 a night. Never in my life have I had a roach problem and I’ve lived in Texas my entire life. Likely due to a combination of the valet trash in the hallways and likely dirty neighbors I just cant be rid of them. Seems like a wonderful deal on the outside but be aware of what you’re moving into."
"Nice apartment complex and amazing staff! Ever since Greystar has taken over as management, the property has benefited immensely. They are currently redoing the parking lot, which looks amazing, and have set up a new great gate system, which is easy to use. The maintenance team is responsive and efficient and the girls in the office are kind and helpful. Definitely an apartment complex worth looking at!"
