"WARNING. Roaches, delays, and a month into my lease I'm still dealing with these problems. Edit 03-04-2024: still no new back door so im living without a door latch or lock and the glass is still shattered for one of the panes. Still spotting 2 alive cockroaches though they seem to be dying since wuilmer finally sprayed during the last week and there are over 20 new bodies. I also got a call from wuilmer asking me to take this down. That it's "hurting business" or making them look bad since I said they don't care. It seems I got that idea when 3 weeks into living with roaches I was told there's has never been an infestation and that my apartment is safe to live in, which was the response to an email which i attatched photos of 7 alive roaches and 2 maybe dead. Which is the least id found at a time as photgraphed and documented in the email correspondence. AVOID at all costs . They've rejected my desire to break the lease on "good" terms and I will be ensuring every safety code is up to date and on time from here on out. Edit: 2-21-24 now wuilmer is saying there's no infestation and that my apartment had been safe to live in since I moved. He's responding to an email which I attached photos of 9 new cockroaches spotted during a 10 minute visit. This place will refuse to warn you about an infestation. Act like it's nonexistant, do the bare minimum, and still blame you. Edit 2-20-24 the spray finally arrived but the staff said they didn't see any cockroach activity during their visit. During my 10 minute visit today I spotted 9 more. They said they fixed the door. It's still the same shattered single pane door without a lock and with a broken handle. The only difference is they tightened the screw for the bar that wedges it shut. Continually proving the bare minimum is their maximum effort. Roaches. 02-09-24 day of move in from 2pm to 12:35am I captured 22 alive and crawling roaches of different sizes implying a very well established infestation. Its now 02-16-24 and we're waiting on the pest control to arrive since it was ordered through amazon using the chespest and slowest shipping. No urgency anywhere here. What if i didnt have a place to stay for this? What about my stuff thats been in the infested apartment for over a week now with no end in sight? Despite this I wasn't warned or informed in any sense. The rate of infestation implies roach bodies littered the apartment before the cleaners came. They had to have known and said nothing. They gave the apartment the landlord treatment painting everything white including the screen for the back door, the silver metal handles on cabinets some of which are broken or missing screws and they just painted over it. The back door is completely missing a lock or latch of any kind except a bar to wedge it shut which it's holder is broken too. The staff were informed immediately on arrival and still haven't fixed it. And it's supposed to be a double pane glass door. The double pane creates a pocket of air insulation between them helping insulate the building. The outside pane is shattered. The door is covered in ductape marks. The light in the bathroom is full of dust and rust and flakes. The back "patio" is a 2x2 ft square of conrete with an additional 2 feet of rocks and probably 100 golf balls litering the small back area 1st floor. This place is a health code violation with a lack of any warnings. they violate so many landlord obligations and I will be speaking to the code enforcer."

"I have been living in Skyvue for the last 5 years: under 3 management. So I would be very honest with my review. The review is based on mostly recent time. 1. They do not have any fitness center for last 2 years. BIG NO FOR MANY. BBQ grills do not work (never worked in last 5 years). 2. The gates are opened most of the time. So, homeless people are roaming around. In the forest, it is full of homeless people. They use Skyvue gate as their entrance. In front of the dumpstar, their main entrance. 3. These apartments are too old. Anything can fell down and accidents can happen. Hot water takes time (1-2 mnt) to come. 4. Current management is Sylish Property. They had 3 good staffs in the office: Roel, Jay and Wullimer. Roel and Jay left. Now Wullimer is the property manager. New people work in the office and they do not provide accurate information. 5. Every time you renew the lease, they increase base rent and water+gas bills started to increase too. 6. Recently, the trend is back: Dangerous people started living here again. These people do crime, and police keep coming here. I think they should focus on background checks efficiently. 7. The application process is too slow and somewhat inefficient. They should be upfront about their leasing system. 8. Pools are not cleaned regularly. 9. Washer and Dryer are out of date. Specially, some dryers will ruin your clothes. If you have any questions, ask here. I will try to answer."
"This apartment housing is 5-8 minutes walking to UTSA. 3 minutes to shuttle. I would say it's best for it's breathtaking view. The new management takes maintenance request seriously and issues usually get solved within a day."
