"I was ok with the loud neighbors, people were really friendly, I don't like the manager though, there's washer and dryers, only SHE uses, everyone else has to use the laundry mat up the street, she doesn't speak English, so you're going to need someone to translate, luckily alot of people that are around are willing to help, she has plants and who knows what else by her front door, but if you have something she considers useless, you need to get rid of it, or if she doesn't say anything about it, someone might steal whatever they can, some of the apartments have a small 5X10 fenced in backyard, the issue with that is, if you don't live in one of the apartments with a high fence, some of the people that live behind the apartments will try to break in through your room windows, if you're trying to move in, you need to call a minimum of twice a week, and move in quickly, apartments there go by fast, they remodeled some of the apartments, the ones that haven't been remodeled are because people still live in them, the manager says there's a landlord, but as far as I know, I've never seen them,make sure you move in away the beginning of the month of the ends of the month, if you try in the middle of the month she will make you pay the whole amount you should pay on the 1st, and when the 1st comes around, she will make you pay again, you have to pay the manager, ALWAYS pay with a money order, and ALWAYS write it out in front of HER, that way she can't say you haven't paid rent(as far as I know it's NEVER happened, but you can't be too safe), there's a church called McCauley, they always come every Wednesday and Sunday, sometimes more often, they are very nice people, if you don't go to the church, they will still help you out with necessities once a month to their store, but you need to call them ahead of time, and they will tell you when to come, if you go to their church, they will let you come to their store every day they're open and anything you want for free except, a certain area, and on sundays, they give you tickets to some games(spurs, hockey, soccer, etc) and plays(nutcracker, wicked, if you give a mouse a cookie, etc), they have outings with anyone willing to go, they pick you up, take you, and bring you back, they help you with furniture, if you need it, there are 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, both are $650/month with 1 bathroom,with the 2 bedroom you need to pay the electricity, 1 bedrooms are all bills paid, you only get 1 parking spot, you can have pets, there's no extra fee, I'll update when there's something different and/or new!!!!"

"Expect loud Mexican music, drugs, and loud neighbors. Get used to calling the cops every night."
