"Very unsafe place to live. There have been multiple shootings within the past two years I’ve lived here, and nothing has been done to insure any safety. Simple maintenance issues are resolved rather quickly, but greater issues not so much. For example, I had my washer and dryer break and was without a replacement for over a month. The prices here are horrible and increase a ton every year. The grounds of this property are very dirty and unkempt. I would 100% recommend living elsewhere."
"I like the friendliness of the office staff. Even when I have a bad day when I go to the office for any information, I always feel welcome. The noise and misbehavior of roommates is something the staff doesn't have control over. Nonetheless, when I complained about my roommate trashing out the common area, the management addressed the issue promptly and the situation improved. There is no such thing as a perfect place but I will definitely recommend Red Point if you are looking for a peaceful and clean environment, and a professional staff."
"Overall, a nice community to live in. Good parking, nice floor plans, decent appliances. A few key issues: - Some apartments have awful cockroach infestations that multiple maintenance calls have not fixed - Rent goes up each year a substantial amount - The grounds are relatively dirty most of the time"
"The most horrible place to live in Denton by far. They’ll charge you outrageous move out fees, claiming that they can’t remove any fees without photo proof even though their own front office originally said not to worry about it. There was so many issues with our unit moving in that the front just told us not to worry about it and that they would take care of it. Of course nothing ever got done. Everything wrong with the apartment when we moved in we got charged for. They overlapped our lease with another girl and one of us had to live on the couch for a week until she moved out. They never cleaned the apartment after she left. Communication with the front office is terrible- nobody knows how to do their job. They tell you things that are completely wrong and then claimed nobody would have told you that. Management is just as bad and very rude. Messed up our rent price multiple times and we had to argue with them to get it back to the price we signed a lease for. An absolute scam of an apartment complex with incompetent workers all around."
"My roommates and I had a decent time living here. The management and maintenance were quick to resolve most issues efficiently, but the other residents were absolute slobs, leaving trash all over outside as well as pet waste-- every single patch of grass was covered in it!!! Management could't/(didn't) do anything about that, which honestly made it embarrassing to invite friends and family over with the property looking so obscene. The apartment unit itself was relatively clean upon movement, but it was kinda gross finding random hairs all over (which I am 100+ were not mine) throughout my lease. We did have issues regarding a roommate moving out, and weren't given any notice ahead of time when they wanted to move a new resident into the spare bedroom, in fact, it was in the morning we received an email from management about the new roommate who was due to move in that afternoon! The email stated that we needed to immediately clean up the common spaces (which were very clean, mind you) before this person moved in...and my other roommates & I were already on campus for the rest of the day with no intentions on/time to come back. We later found out that the person they were trying to move in with us was NOT a student, and was much older than us. Renters---know that if you are in this similar situation, you are allowed to DENY the new roommate with management if they are NOT A STUDENT. These are student apartments, so you have full ability to decline! All-in-all, it was a decent year. Great apartment unit itself, but not worth it with the nastiness on the outside. Stay away from student housing if you're wanting to live in a clean and well-maintained environment."
