"I lived in Country View for 2 years. During that time history will show that I met my obligation and was never late, ever. In my opinion, the maintenance was sub-par at best. It took a period of over 4 months for their handy men to figure out what was wrong with the A/C. Then we had problems with the septic backing up into the bath tubs numerous times. We were told, "it's your excrement, not anyone else's". I guess that was suppose to make it better. During a hard rain, twice our apartment flooded. It was on a Saturday evening so I got equipment and cleaned it ourselves rather than wait until Monday. I'm in that type business so it was easy access. I informed the office of what happened and never got any response, no offer to credit me or anything. On another occasion I had to kill a snake in the bathroom. We believe it came in through the toilet. My wife called the manager to ask that some pest control people come take a look and the response was that they didn't do that. If we have a snake problem, call animal control.Their personnel are not very user friendly. Very condescending. When came time for the lease renew, they decided to raise the rent by $100. They had raised it $50 the year before. I decided that I wasn't going to stay and I told them that. I gave them notice in writing as well. However, I didn't give them 60 days, only 30. I hired a professional cleaning service to clean the apartment after we moved. I figured I would have to pay for the 30 days and I was OK with that until I found that after I gave notice, without my permission, and for no just cause, someone from that office ran a credit check on me. I have a service that monitors any activity on credit or bank accounts.That happens to be against the law in Texas. They are now having a collection company attempt to collect for that 30 day early exit and have reported it to all the credit venue's. I wish I could speak with someone in upper level management from Arbor Properties. I don't think they know everything. Very bad experience."
"Location, amenities, super helpful maintenance staff. We sold our homestead and I thought I'd hate apartment living, but it's been the exact opposite. Country View feels like a home, especially since they are single-story harden apartments, with huge green spaces. Management has been great. And now we're super close to everything in town. Great place!"
"Not sure whats worse, the management "losing" payments or the constant repairs being needed on everything from the water heater, refrigerator, toilets and HVAC system. Was notified that my rent payment was not received (a week after I put my cashiers check in the rent drop) the same day that I was given an eviction notice giving me and my 2 young children 24 hours to move out.This was a complete surprise to me since I thought rent had been paid a week prior. If I could give negative stars I would. Both Ranger Creek Meadows and Country View are both managed from the same office at Country View, they also share the same pool. Also, last I checked, APARTMENT Managers are NOT allowed to review their own apartments. Yes, I had to leave a few things in the apartment because of having to be out by Midnight of the next day, no time for cleaning was given, let alone for packing, still have $920 missing from the cashiers check that was "lost""
"Management has gotten much better over the past couple of years, making a definite effort to refresh and replace old or outdated equipment and apartment interiors. The coming addition of a new pool/exercise room is going to make a huge difference."
