MD Pediatric Associates - Flower Mound

"Dont take your child here if they are sick and expect quality care. The staff here is second rate, at best. Don't expect to actually see a real MD or DO either. We brought my daughter here because of allergies and difficulty breathing. The nurse tried, and i stress tried, to take her oxygen meter for more than 30 minutes and couldn't. Then the PA came in after the nurse had made her cry so hard where i could hear her heart thump so hard out of her tiny chest. She said that her oxygen level was too low and needed to be sent to the hospital because she could stop breathing at any moment. So at this point, any parent, including me is scared clueless and would do anything. Yes, send the ambulance, I say. Meanwhile, they bring the oxygen tank and tried to administer oxygen to my daughter until the ENT comes. I say, tried, because they didn't even know how to turn it on for like 5 minutes. ENT comes about 5 minutes later, checks my daughter and gets her oxygen level within 30 seconds. They say it's not that bad but if you want, we can send her to the ER so they can check her over some more. I say, let's go just because I'm still scared from the PA telling me that she could die 10 minutes ago. ENT asks, "where we're going?" I say," the PA suggested Plano Childrens." (I still don't understand why she insisted Plano when the closest hospital is 8 minutes away and has a childrens wing also) He says, "Medical City, Lewisville is much closer, why not go there?" So we head over to Medical City. They took her oxygen meter and its withing normal parameters, did a few other test and tells me its just congestion. Overall, the ENT and Medical City were great! The staff here at MD Pediatrics however, are untrained and borders on incompetence. I will not bring my kids here ever again!"
