Victoria Station Apartments 214 South Bell Avenue, Denton, TX 76201

"Resident at Victoria Station Highly recommend you give your money to nicer/newer apartments for the amount this older apartment charges.Very little people renew! Thats why their 90 day policy(scam) is so strict. Make sure you read your lease!Please Apartment itself: 2/5 PROS; It was clean and for the most part looked like pictures. Water would get nice and hot. CONS: Old/outdated Extra charges AC was terrible. It would not get cool or it took like 7 hrs for it get to cool. If I turned my AC on at 5 after work. I would not feel a any cool air until about 12 or1am.When I woke for work at about 8am is when it would feel good and cool. With that in mind my electric bill would be at least $80 ( just me) because I had to run the AC for so long. It would also leak water all over my bathroom floor. I requested maintenance multiple times about it, to the point where I stopped. One maintenance man called me and said "it will stop leaking if you turn the AC off" No duh!!! But I cant sit in an hot apt to avoid it leaking water. Thats when I posted my frustrations of the issue not being fixed,after requesting numerous of times.On the apartment portal that they denied it being posted. In the refrigerator in the door(where you put your butter and condiments and things like that) the railing would fall off every other day constantly, even if nothing was in the door. I could just open the fridge door and everything would fall out. Under the kitchen sink it constantly leaked water. When I ran water in the sink and the water drained. The water would just leak under the sink all over the kitchen floor. Had to request maintenance for it like 3 times. The towel rack in the bathroom is cheap or just poor installation. It broke off the wall 5 times no exaggeration. I never even put towels or anything on it. I had my own towel hanger thing that hangs on the back of the door, so I never had reason to use it. Plenty of roaches. Pest only sprayed twice during my lease Maintenance 3/5 They were really nice but worked very sloppy. Did not put things back, left a mess(will attach pictures). Would come to apt without notification or warning sometimes. Its been a couple of times I worked from home and I hear the key of someone trying to get in. I did not put in a maintenance request nor did I know they were fixing things ( for example putting in new toilets). Not even on the apartment portal was there warning of that. Management/leasing directors 1/5 They are nice, however they are also rude.Leah/Katie, not a fan at all. It got to the point as soon as they answer I requested for the manger, and I would have to beg to speak to her (Lorie) who is great. Even if she was annoyed or tired, I could not tell or got no negative vibes.She always tried for a solution.I wish I could say the same for the other leasing agents. They would insist on me explaining my issues to them. I have already tried to do that and you did not do your job, so now you want to attempt to do your job because I want to speak to the manger. They do not respond to emails or request. When I was contacting them and emailing them about signing a lease, I got responses immediately back. However when I am emailing about extra or unknown charges on my account(unknown charges happens often) Katie response is "we receive a lot of emails...soo.". But when I call and ask for someone to help on the phone or respond to the email because its been 7 days later. On the phone they have already seen and know what I am inquiring about. Would it not be easier to just type a response to an email then to have to call and talk and wait on the phone. I was told over and over how I did not turn in a notice and they didn't get anything from me. I quickly sent screen shots and called them out. One of the screenshots with Katie(attached pics) even shows her responding to me,saying she was turning it into Lea but she did not get anything or respond lol. I cannot emphasize enough to make sure you go over your lease and check your portal constantly for new charges."

"Top notch. Had no pest issues (except ants one time, but we bought some ant traps and never saw them again). Repairs were kinda slow, but they jack bell has lots of properties so it was understandable in their delay. Apartment quality was fairly nice, not too fancy but still great. Always answered the phones (especially zach (k?), he was awesome. Highly recommend."

"We absolutely LOVE our apartment, this complex, and the entire office and maintenance staff. We have lived here since December 2014. Our rent has not increased drastically in the last two years, the staff is always friendly, often times our maintenance requests are completed SAME DAY and never more than 2 days since our request, and the grounds are kept well. The only "negatives" we have ever experienced are the lock to the gate being broken often due to negligent tenants (the maintenance staff is regularly fixing it) and this past year they changed from a pet-friendly pest control, to a company that requires us to remove our pets when they come every 2-3 months (which is a huge hassle, and severely stresses out my cats, making them sick and nervous for days after)."
