"It was decent while living there. The management could definitely use an upgrade though. It's been almost a year since I've moved out and been trying to figure out how/where to make payments on my balanced that's owed but I'm basically getting ignored through email so now I'm going to have to go up there and make them do what should've already been done. Once you're no longer a tenant they no longer care how things going unsolved effects you so fair warning. Other than that the apartments weren't bad but I will advise to practice cleanliness to eliminate some of the unwelcome critters because they're definitely present and God forbid you need your refrigerator moved because I needed mine repaired and the amount of roaches that scattered made my skin crawl... But good luck if you decide to move in!"
"Tamika and Tasha were very very helpful to make these apartments our next home. They went over and beyond to accommodate our handicap daughter, due to the fact that she is in a wheelchair. They showed us an apartment that had a ramp and pulled up carpet for wood floors. Not everybody would do this for a potential resident, they did!!! Thank you ladies for everything. The Sullivan’s"
"These people lied to my disabled mother. She put in her notice at her current apartment just to find out Casa Vista lied about their availability. They took her $250.00 deposit and are not answering her calls. She is on Section 8 and can not afford to lose her deposit. Give Consuelo Rescendez her money back."
"Update: BBB told me that my next step was with the Office of the Attorney General of Texas. Waiting on them. I lived here for a full year. June 2022 to 2023. When they approved me they ask for a high risk fee of $375.00 and a deposit of a full month $1,225.00. I always pay on time. In my monthly payment was included the pest control and in my full year there, they only went once and because I was insisting. They always have an excuse. Also right after I moved, they close the pool without explanation and it was close for almost the whole summer. When the ice storm happened during the last winter all the sidewalks were frozen solid. Or neighbor had to break the ice on the sidewalk with a hammer so that we could walk safely. In spring, the management change for the third time and they start “remodeling”. They change the fence, they “paint” the outside (the company they hire did a really cheap job). They painted the doors without letting you know so every time you open the door you could see the edges with a different color. I finally moved out. I left that apartment completely empty and I took pictures of everything. Today is August 13, 2023. I haven’t received my deposit back. I called on August 7th and they told me that there were damages on the apartment. That they needed to clean the carpet (only on the stairs), that they needed to fix the counter top and paint the apartment. That from $1,225 they we’re going to give me back about $700.00 I ask for a written list of the damages they charge because I have pictures of the apartment when I turn it in and they told me that I needed to send them the pictures before they can send me the list. I told them no. They need to send me the proof first. I’m still waiting for the email that they told me they were going to send. I called the back on Friday 11th and left a message and also send the an email. So if you are planing on renting, be aware."
"***EDIT*** I have fully moved out 6/14. I should have been due most of my refund. They double charged me for some cleaning and carpet cleaning that was offered free when I renewed but never got, It was verbal and not written that is why it was never done and could not be appealed. But this means after 2 years of living there they were not even going to replacing it. I still have not received my deposit and will not get any information regarding it. Please always document what happens over email. If they do not have written proof they could dismiss your requests. I gave them 1 stars because they advertise their pool as the main amenity as soon as you go to their website. This was one of my top reasons for choosing this place. After signing lease ang paying fees I was then informed the pool will not be open 30-45 days. Not sure how long the pool has been close, definitely since before early June, but I see no signs of them getting on the ball to fix it. So tenants are left paying for an amenity that is not even available. Management has made it clear there will be no compensation for it which just seems a little unfair to the tenants. Other than that The units have a good amount of space depending on how many people are living in the unit. It's fairly kept well considering how old the buildings are. And I feel it is generally a safe and normally quiet area."
