"I lived at the mark at midtown for one year and had no issues with the management downstairs. I even left them a good review but come to find out they held my deposit for almost 3 months after move out. I had paid cleaners, sent a video and did a walk through with the leasing agents who even said wow funmi you left this place spotless and we need more renters like you. I had given them my forwarding address but someone forgot to put in the apartment number then they blamed me. Then I was charged for the bathtub which I had reported had issues with the caulking while I was living there. The maintenance guy said ‘oh this will be done when you move out don’t worry we won’t charge you’ then they went ahead to charge me from my deposit which makes 0 sense. The apartment was spotless and they took $220 out of my deposit and gave me back only $80 which makes no sense to anyone I’ve spoken to. The management system is fraudulent and I’ve tried to call them multiple times but they don’t pick up."
"The ENTIRE Maintenance Team at Magnolia Henderson and Moser; Peak, Pem, Dung and Darryl are FANTASTIC! I couldn’t ask for a better team. They are always so friendly, helpful, and genuinely care about the property and residents, and are very pleasant. Requests are responded to extremely quickly and completed with the highest level of standards and satisfaction. I highly recommend living here as both maintenance and management are amazing! Keep up the great work!"
"Having worked at 5 management companies as a lead Maintenance person, I can say that Magnolia truly cares about their employees and residents. Buddy, Lori, Taylor Devin and Kristen all made me feel like family. We pulled together as a team to help out residents through snowmageddon, and they appreciated all my hard work. Although the property sold and I no longer work there, I can truly say from the heart that they are one of the few management companies that made me feel like I mattered and was appreciated."
"I am in my 3rd lease term at one of the properties this company manages. My partner and I began having problems with our AC back in July, and finally reached out to the regional office for help in early November. We reached out to the regional office after being dismissed, bounced around, and neglected by our personal property office. Our regional manager, Jeremy, made us feel very heard and got an AC person out to our property very quickly- which was wonderful! Unfortunately, we now cannot get in touch with him and the issue has not been fixed whatsoever, only diagnosed. We would love someone at the Magnolia Corporate Office to reach out to us, help us fix the issue, and allow us to move on. The leasing managers at our office don’t reply to our emails, or answer the phones and since they run multiple properties they are rarely at our office to help. The receptionist we spoke to, Amanda, was a delight and has great customer service skills. I would think twice about leasing with this company, as it is very hard to get in touch with anyone once things, inevitably, go wrong with your unit."
"Our apartment is so beautiful but unfortunately, where we live in Roanoke, the staff is never available for customers or at least residents. The leasing office door remains locked during the weekday business hours and in the 11 months we have been here, not one time could I get through on the phone. They are quick to respond by email and even verified, when I asked if the office was open during posted business hours, that it is best to make an appointment. The building is overwhelmed by weed and the exterior carport lights are not set to the correct timers which we have asked about multiple times. Customer experience is not a high priority here and it is so unfortunate because the apartments are beautiful and the location is perfect."
