"My husband and I have been residents at Bexley Mansfield for the past two years and we just signed our lease here for a bigger home for our growing family. Joshua and Lindsey are such great people and communicators and they helped us so much along the way. I totally recommend Bexley Mansfield for anyone looking for luxury living in a quiet community. Side note: I noticed a prior review mentioned a suspicion that the good reviews were coaxed by a promise on cheaper rent… in the two years we have lived here we have never heard of an incentive like this. Bexley is really just a great place and the staff deserve to be recognized for their efforts."
"1. PARKING SUCKS. this property become a storage complex or junk yard for cars that are inoperable which makes parking that much more difficult bc more times than not I have to park OUTSIDE of the gate (unsecured) for lack of parking or far away from my apartment -yes I’m on the wait list but WHO knows when one will become available and how close it will be to my apartment-and that too, comes with a fee. Albeit the staff is kind, it doesn’t excuse the shortcomings of the property. People double park across to lanes-I’m assuming to secure parking for a neighbor-friend or their 2nd vehicle. It is tacky and if at all necessary, it is shameful that it’s the only way that driver could ensure him/herself parking. The community nitpicks on minute hiccups but doesn’t and hasn’t even addressed my email on observation about the aforementioned issues. I’ve seen a vehicle parked across the fire lane into the street causing motor vehicle operators to either maneuver around the unoccupied and wrongfully parked vehicle or wait for oncoming vehicles to pass since they are unable to pass simultaneously. (But the staff is nice). 2. Neighbor complaints hold weight but are empty- Be careful to not rub your neighbors the wrong way bc they may just complain and it becomes part of your “file” which could prevent you from moving into a bigger apartment (giving them more money). The appalling part of that is there is not supporting documents, videos, etc. validating such bogus complaint. Yet, when a complaint is made due to that very neighbor having weekend party and blasting loud music, it falls on deaf ears-it’s the hypocrisy for me. (But the staff is nice). 3. Smokeless property? Anything but. However, I got a warning about the evidence of burning sage in my apartment home, yet a see a guest coming out of the apartment home of a leasing consultant straight smoking a cigarette! Not a vape, but a firelit cigarette! Again, it’s the hypocrisy for me. (But the staff is nice). 4. TRASH- try getting a “violation” or warning thereof for not having your trash in the bin. No matter how lightweight, no holes, tightly secured, no smells, out during period of time outline on the trash butler flyer, it needs to be in the bin. The hypocrisy is, trash is supposed to be picked up by the trash vendor (literally, they are TRASH) beginning at 8p-yet they’ve come as early as 7:50p (8p is 8p), meaning that if they’ve already run and you put your trash out at 7:55p, you may have missed them. Likewise, you “must” per Bexley Mansfield and trash butler, have your bin INSIDE of your dwelling (or on patio) by 9a the following day, yet my neighbor continues to put stinky trash out all day long. The office has yet to address or violate them (aside from the real time photos that has been sent) bc they have yet to stop leaving their bin out after 9a! -again, it’s the hypocrisy for me- but the staff is kind."
"Bexley Mansfield has an excellent Maintenance Team. Carlos and Jamie are the dynamic duo of the Maintenance Team. All requests (which have been minimal because Bexley keeps their property on point) submitted have been handled timely, professionally and with excellence. I never doubt their ability to handle my requests or respond to my requests quickly. My family and I are in transition towards a smaller home purchase and I'm very happy that we chose Bexley for our interim residential needs. Carlos and Jamie make our living experience at Bexley that more enjoyable!"
"I typical don't leave reviews, but I believe a lot of the reviews here are misleading and more than likely was part of the community program to leave a review for a chance to have money off your rent. Now for the review… Master Bedroom - water has been leaking through the window and the ceilings each time it’s rains. I have reported the issues several times. Maintenance came and painted over it the first time. I reported again and they told me it was outsourced etc, he said he have to check the warranty. 9.25.23 maintenance came back out, said he had to contact warranty nothing else has been done. Water stains still there, ceiling still split. No one have EVER checked for mold. Every time it rains, water literally pouring in from the ceiling and windows seal. Pictures will be attached. Bathroom - fixtures old, rusted. Master bathroom water leak from ceiling Trash - the trash valet is a joke. They’ve had possibly 3 companies the 1.5 years I’ve been here. I have received 3 violations with the new company within 2 months. Never had violations with the prior company. I called the office because the last violation was a lie. I spoke with Jose who advised the trash bag had holes in it, when I told him I would send pictures of the bag with no holes he placed me on hold then came back to the phone and said the weight of the bag was too heavy. I asked what was the weight to which he had no idea. I offered to let him come weigh the bag or I weigh it myself and take a picture. Jose told me no, they would side with trash butler and the violation would stick ($35 violation). I will attach the photo of the “overweight” trash that was sent to me with no picture showing the weight. On the weekends the compactor is overflown with trash all over the ground, everywhere ! Parking - HORRIBLE. I’m in building 20 and have to park at the end of the complex to find parking. There are several broken down vehicles occupying spaces that residents could occupy if they was some sort of organization to parking. I bought cover parking which was on the back of the complex because none was available by my complex. Neighbors - the family upstairs have 4 children which are homeschooled and constantly run day and night. I’ve reported this, the apartments send out a general email to tenants about noise. Office personal - change frequently. ….not to mention the inspections and random pop ups if they feel you have a pet. It’s not worth it. Only good thing, maintenance is very nice. For $2500/mo you can find a much better apartment complex down the street in actual Mansfield. UPDATE: in response to manage response, the water leaking issues has been present since before the recent storm. Several times it has just been painted over. It rained 4 days, can you imagine how much water leaked from everywhere ? The only response is the vendor has been contacted ? Trash - notifying trash butler does not change the fact I have $70 worth of fees attached to my rent due to non valid trash violations. I will add the picture showing what I received for a violation - nothing showing a weight. I asked the office for the fee to be removed and was told no."
"I closed on my house earlier than expected. I had only two weeks to move out of my house. I called Bexley Mansfield and spoke with Josh and inquired if I could rent for two months. He said yes without hesitation. I broke down and cried, because I did not think I could rent an apartment for such a short period. Josh quickly assured me that they could do it and he turned my crying into laughter. I got to the leasing office the same day and met Kelsey. She, just like Josh was extremely friendly and took me to the apartment. Wow. I later met other team members in the leasing office and I must say they are all fantastic. This is a very nice and clean apartment. I felt very safe on the property. I will recommend this property to anyone looking for a safe, clean, and friendly place to call home."
