"I toured these apartments while looking for a new home and the experience was not great. I will say that the apartment itself is very nice, however what turned me away was how impersonal the experience was. Everything is done via an app or through text, there is no one I can actually speak to. The complex smelled terrible (like rotting garbage and dog poop), they have no recycling program, certain services are forced upon you and you are charged for them separately (like daily trash pickup with no opt-out) and I was made aware of certain hidden fees ONLY because I asked specific questions. I will not be renting here and would highly advise anyone who considers it to ask very specific questions so you're not blindsided."
"The year I lived in this complex was definitely not in the top ranked. Some of the good things about my experience/this complex - -The pool is a fantastic amenity and rarely crowded, even on holidays. -The gym has a nice set-up with a decent variety of equipment for an apartment gym. -There are multiple grills throughout the complex. -A decent sized dog park in the back, with the exception that it's never clean because tenants use this for a poop ground and never pick up. -It's gated and recently updated locks on the apartment doors. Not so good - -My first month in the apartment, we had a freeze (Dec '22) and pipes above the 3rd floor busted. I was on the second floor and my apartment was completely flooded, and some personal items were damaged. While I understand the apt complex is not responsible for my personal items, as I needed to get flood insurance, there wasn't much sympathy for the entire situation. Kind of like a "well, this happens" sort of attitude. When the apartment was being remedied by the hired 3rd party team, I was shocked to find out that an item had been stolen, my personal cleaning supplies were being used and they had broken two of my personal furniture belongings. The two good things that came from this are that towards the end of the 3 weeks I was displaced, the office was able to get me into a similar unit in the same building and they compensated me with a gift card for the damaged/stolen items. -There were consistent issues with the same two items over and over - my disposal and AC. The disposal was looked at and "fixed" at least 3 times and the AC was a good few more than that. It seemed as though nobody knew what was happening. I'd have it set on 68 and it would still feel about 80 in the apt. All while I was getting billed for the 68. I will say, though, the maintenance team did a great job of tackling their tickets fairly quickly. -There are dog waste stations spread throughout the complex (with the exception of near the pool - where my apt was), but even with all of these, there was poop constantly everywhere. It doesn't seem anybody was enforcing the clean-up. -This is more on the neighbors but my upstairs neighbors in my second unit were absolutely horrific. Stomping, consistently dragging furniture, running back and forth, etc. This would happen before 7am and all through the day, sometimes until 11p. After taking initiative and attempting to resolve with the tenant themselves, I took my concerns to the office. After a few "attempts" to ask them to keep it down, it was another "sorry, nothing further we can do" situation. I get it, there will be noise, but the consistency of the noise, how loud it was, was not standard living noise. I just wasn't happy with how the entire situation was handled. -The gates were constantly broken. Both the front and the back. I chose a gated community for a reason. Overall, I survived a year here. It was a decent cost for the amenities and the upgrades in the apt, however, minor adjustments need to be made for a better living experience."
"If i could give 0 start i would. My husband applied to Villagio Apartments 6months ago & we haven’t received our $150 for application fee since we were declined. We keep calling, its hard to get a hold of someone and when we do. They keep saying they will look into it NEW MANAGEMENT. But we haven’t heard anything & they are hard to get a hold of."
"Overall, it's a nice apartment with amazing staff members. We really enjoyed our stay here, but during the freeze and snow we've been having issues with the air conditioning. The heater doesn't even work and we had to deal with living in a cold apartment for 2 days during the freeze. Staffs are off, but hopefully someone can fix the issue."
"We love living at Villaggio! The staff is very friendly and helpful, maintenance has responded to every issue within 24 hours most of the time the same day, all of the amenities are amazing. The dog park is huge, and the pool is really nice! There is a security guard at the pool that keeps the pool area safe and for residents only. Also, free Starbucks coffee in the lobby! It's a great place to live."
