"My car was broken into, reported it to the leasing office and they were supposed to be providing the officers with footage of the break in but no one has got back with me or replied to my emails. Before moving here, please read the reviews! Your car WILL be broken into as some point. Management doesn’t take this serious as people lively hood is affected. We should have cameras covering the side walk where residents park their cars too and not just in the garage. ALL of these people are reporting that their car is being broken into and y’all are not doing ANYTHING to resolve it is ridiculous. They will just respond to this comment saying we’re sorry and to email them but NEVER reply. Don’t waste your time moving here!"

"The property is terrible. My car was broken into twice and stolen the first time. Management switch a total of four times.the property did not have working cameras for the cops to view. The pool didn’t work often. Homeless people sit in the front and the back of the property. The trash is never picked up by the door. I just had a terrible experience when I moved in maintenance never came and still hasn’t. If you pay valet trash they only pick up one bag. Which is not true they don’t even do that. Breakins happened a total of eights times in one month. My unit was terrible the microwave floor and everything was messed up"

"PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! READ BELOW!! I don't even know where to start. This place used to be so nice and kept up with. In the last year this place has seen a management change more than 6 times and has been bought out by a different company as well. To start the garage gates into the parking garage have been broken for a year now. This issue has caused many homeless people to wonder in and sleep in our garage and they are very aggressive when you confront them. We have a security guard that drives in and out maybe once a day in the evening but that's it. The hallways have been painted but looks terrible with many unfinished areas and sloppy work all around. Our new maintenance guy (after 5 new ones) told us when he started there was 175 work orders that haven't been completed. It took themmonths to come fix our dishwasher I could only imagine other residents that need something more urgent. The key fobs around the building are always broken so it's hard to get into the building all the damn time. For how expensive it is to live here you would think they would care about their residents more. All we hear is bunch of "it's getting worked on" or "we will take care of it" but nothing ever gets done. The Union at River East really needs to step up and do something about all of this.. Update 8/21/23 the workers really took all the trash out into the street (see picture attached)."

"At first I did not have high hopes after reading some of the reviews, however I loved the location, so I went ahead with my appointment and tour! I have to say as a manager myself I was impressed with the staff. The manager was very professional. I ended up signing a lease and am very happy with my new apartment! UPDATE READ THIS!!!!! Our company housing nurses, the property was very very bad with crime and management! We placed many good reviews so our nurses would feel safe, However what you read in past reviews are ALL TRUE, management is rude and lies daily, car thefts are every few days, all you have to do is get a free police report status for the address. ho housekeeping, doors and gates have been broken for months,, DO NOT LEASE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
