Cook Children's Pediatrics Henderson

"Have been with cook children’s pediatrics for over a year now and too bad I have to switch providers for my sons due to an insurance change. Dr.Pradhan and her medical team are amazing and takes every concern very seriously. Dr.Jones is also an amazing pediatrician. The few times he saw my son, he did everything possible to figure out the cause of my son’s prolonged fever.Thanks to him and dr.Pradhan, my son is on a successful road to recovery! I am forever grateful to these great team of doctors and their staff. I have never had an issue scheduling sick appointments. The staffs are very good at calling back and following up. Highly recommend if you are looking for great pediatricians for your kiddos!"

"Dr. Hamilton is awesome, can’t recommend her enough! Everything else is mediocre to bad at best. The staff isn’t rude, usually, but the wait time is absolutely atrocious. You can count on waiting at LEAST an hour after your appointment time before you actually see your doctor, and usually you end up waiting longer. It would be 1 star if it wasn’t for Dr. Hamilton, but it’s not worth dealing with such a poorly run system"

"The providers and staff are all great. I just cannot get over the wait. Every time I come (for the last 3 years) I have to wait over an hour to be seen. And it doesn’t matter if you have the 3rd appt of the day (my other son had an appt 3 months ago at 9:30am- we waited over an hour to be seen) you are still waiting. At Cooks Henderson office now. Appt was at 10:40am. We arrived at 10:20am. It is 11:41 am and we have yet to be seen."

"Dr. Jones is our toddler's pediatrician, and he is the absolute best! Whether we go in for a sick/well visit, he ALWAYS handles us with such care and compassion. What makes our visits to the Henderson clinic so exceptional, is that we are first warmly greeted by a wonderful reception team, followed by extremely quick and efficient nursing staff, (Stephanie and Andrea are amazing), and then of course we are seen by Dr. Mark Jones, who takes time to answer any questions or concerns that we might have. We truly lucked out with our son's care providers and couldn't ask for a better team of people to guide us through, as first time parents. Cheers to the Henderson clinic! True professionals doing what they do best."

"The doctors may be wonderful but the way the office is run is terrible. To make an appointment of any kind, you have to call your nurse and leave a voicemail. At no time will you get a live person. The nurse will then call you back. Heaven forbid you miss the call back. You will then have to repeat the process and wait for the nurse to call. The wait time to get in is, on average, more than 30 minutes. They are always running late. This has been going on since before they renovated the office. The stress of dealing with the office system alone is not worth it. There are plenty of other good doctors with good office procedures in the city of Fort Worth. *update as of 10/18* started going to Cooks Pediatric Magnolia directly across the street. What a difference! Still hear negative comments about Cooks Henderson's office from my fellow neighbors. Everyone seems to agree that the office management makes this location hard to deal with though the doctors themselves are great"
