"DO NOT MOVE IN THESE APARTMENTS! Moved into a one-bedroom first. Had major bug problems. Hot water would get cut off often. Decided to upgrade to a two-bedroom apartment. Since my daughter is growing but that was a mistake. The photos on the website don’t match what the apartment looks like—currently paying $1474 for a two-bedroom that is not worth it. I put in a work order to get the front blinds and the screen fixed when we first moved in, which has never happened. Back in May. The whole complex needs a remodeled. Parts of the ceiling are stained yellow. The dishwasher doesn’t work. Permanent stains in the sink and tube at move in the cabinet on the inside are an old brown as they have never been changed. I can hear my upstairs neighbors run water. The last time that happened, the pipes busted. Could’nt sleep in our apartment for a week while they were fixing the pipes, then offered us an to stay in an apartment that looked like someone was living in or in the process of moving out. and did not get compassionated for that. Pest control doesn't do anything; I still have bug issues. I have been waiting for my wall to be repaired after being cut open to fix the pipes since August. I don't mean to be rude, but the apartment is not worth the money, the only thing the apartment has going for is that the new manager is friendly hopefully she stays"
"RUN!!!!!!!!! Between repeated vandalism on-site, along with no surveillance on-site; unempathetic management; and mold and conditions in major need of repair, save yourself heaps of stress and money by not even entertaining this as a place to live. I could write a book on the horrible experiences I had living here."
"Guys, the words to describe the dissatisfaction I have with my experience here do not exist. I had planned a move-in day months in advance. I talked to the office manager about it repeatedly. On the day of move-in the office was CLOSED! 4.5 hours later she showed up with yes, a valid reason she had to emergently close the office. However, I had driven 5 hours to get here and move in with my family before school started! It’s 110 degrees right now! We were left waiting for 4.5 hours. She runs up, gives me the keys, and says we’ll sign the lease Monday. I was still trying to be rationale so I took the keys and walked into the apartment…only to find out the A/C only halfway works (very humid in the unit) and water was leaking from the HVAC unit in the ceiling. I called emergency maintenance and they have still not called me back (>24 hours later). There are visible signs of black residue on the board in the ceiling below the HVAC and water stains so you can tell this problem has occurred before. The icing on the cake is there was a roach on the ground in the kitchen pantry. I wanted to give this place a shot because it is SO CLOSE to TCU’s campus, but I’d honestly probably feel better under a bridge. I will be giving my keys back. Luckily, no lease has been signed at this time and one will not be signed. I would recommend looking for different housing if you’re able. The $500 monthly savings IS NOT worth it."
"I would not recommend these apartments at all. We’ve lived here since last May and I for one cannot wait to be out of here. Maintenance takes forever to fix the issues in the apartment when they pop up. Even multiple requests for different issues occurring at once doesn’t seem to strike a sense of urgency. We’ve had leaks in our bathroom ceiling and sink at least 3 times, and our AC has broken at least twice - one occurrence was never fixed by maintenance and we waited weeks until the issue resolved itself. Not to mention the on-site laundry facility has 4 washers and 4 dryers, but only 2 of each are functional; the other ones have been labeled out of order for months, almost as long as I’ve been here. One of the “functional” washers fills up with water and doesn’t drain, leaving the clothes soaking wet. For laundry that you have to pay for, you would hope the machines would actually work. Avoid these apartments if at all possible. For what they charge, you can find way better."
"These apartments are portrayed as updated, lush grass, and grand but they are far from that. I have carpet that is yet to be replaced and I have been here five years. When I moved in I was told it would be replaced but management after management says the following “do you have that in writing that the carpet would be replaced?” This manager has no morals nor integrity along with the New Leasing Company Sunridge Management, they are all a joke. You ask questions and they beat around the bush. Today is Saturday and I was told in an email that the office would be opened on Saturday’s because of Summertime hours. The manager does not show up to work on time and the new management company allows that. It’s there loss since I had two individuals looking to move to these apartments they decided to go elsewhere. The management does not explain anything and if you ask in an email you get no response. Yeah, for what they charge for these apartments you can find something better."
