"Was killing some time when passing through town and decided to look for some stuff that I needed for the road. Absolutely disappointed. First of all, it's it's the most overpriced Savers I've ever been to & I've been dozens across America. They won't let you try on any clothes, and since they're second hand you never know if the size will fit no matter what it says. Not to mention they have a no return policy. Strike one. I did find an item that I was looking for. it was a little more than I should have paid but I needed it and figured worst case would be I resell it If it doesn't work out. I tried to check out but even though there were people behind the registers they kept bumping me to the next one. I was told I would have to use the self-checkout area even though there was a mob of people there. I do not approve of these self-checkouts for many reasons. First of all, their stuff is overpriced and they're not willing to pay for a cashier?! Where are people supposed to work if they're replacing everybody with robots? And finally, I don't work here. Why do I have to ring everything up myself and pay an extra high price at your store? Very annoying. All places that have self-checkout should give you a discount because you're working instead of their employees. Regardless, I won't be shopping here again. An update: walked my dog when I left and went to throw the doo doo doo in the dumpster and it was chock full of goodies. Full to the brim. If I was a metal scrapper, I would hit that spot up. There was a sign that said no scavenging, you will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, but I'm pretty sure there isn't a law anywhere that says garbage picking is thieving"
"Your no return policy on electronics is completely insane. Any other thrift store (besides Savers) test their electronics before they put them on the shelf. But Savers takes any and all electronics and appliances that people drop off and just puts it on their shelves without plugging it in and testing it. And some poor soul comes into your store and buys said products and take them home, only for them not to work so you want to bring it back to the store right? No not at Savers . Are you freaking kidding me? How is it the customers fault that you took someone's junk in without even turning it on and just place it on your shelf and ask an ungodly amount for something you got free and then tell the customer your wonderful no return policy. What a way to screw people over that are already hurting for money otherwise they wouldn't be shopping in a thrift store. But you can hire a security guard? For a thrift store? Come on now if they are in there stealing than they obviously need it. Why not, you get everything for free. But once again want to charge an ungodly amount for items you get delivered to you. $18 for a used pair of jeans? You can go to Walmart and buy new ones for that. You guys are a scam and need your doors closed. Cause you aren't helping anyone but your own pockets."
"Purchased clothes for my girlfriend who couldn’t be there at the time of purchase. I asked the checkout lady what the return policy was and she told me “you have 14 days from the date of purchase.” The clothes didn’t my girlfriend. I returned the following day and asked for my money back. The same exact employee who checked me out the day before and told me I had 14 days, said I was unable to return them and they had to be exchanged for other items. I then asked if I could have store credit since I would be traveling during the 14 day window. I was told there is no store credit. I also spoke to a manager about this issue. Both employees were super apathetic and could not have cared less. This is a greedy policy and there is no legitimate reason I can’t be offered store credit that expired longer than 14 days."
"I’ve been shopping there for years always enjoyed it until recently. The prices have suddenly gone way up their pricing things above what they would have been new! It looks like management should come in and see the crazy pricing there putting on items such as a drinking glass obviously from a restaurant nothing fancy for $3.50. You’ve got to be kidding me.."
"I love thrift shopping but this Savers is dirty and the building has alot of issues when it rains. Half the women's section was closed off because of water coming in while it rained."
