"It is a nice place for smaller performances but very upset we paid more for orchestra seating to get pushed to the back and get a partially obstructed view (see pic). I would've rather been in a cheaper balcony seat to not have to deal with obstructed views. As a tall person I enjoyed having plenty of leg/knee room between our seats. My wife, however, is "vertically challenged" and the "landing" our seats were on was too shallow for her feet to fit but the floor was too far for her shorter legs to reach making her uncomfortable the entire time. Also, the lights on the backs of the chairs infront of us didn't turnoff or even dim during the performance ruining it even more! Overall. I don't consider the seats we had to be "orchestra" seating, had we been where we expected & paid for I think we'd have enjoyed it a lot more. If you end up in these seats they should only charge you $5!"
"A Dallas Gem for Performing Arts Lovers The Wyly Theatre has become a favorite spot for me in Dallas. It offers a truly intimate and immersive experience that makes you feel right in the heart of the action. Over the years, I've witnessed some truly great moments on that stage, from powerful dramas to captivating musicals. The variety of productions is impressive, catering to diverse tastes and interests. Whether you're looking for a thought-provoking play, a heart-warming musical, or something in between, the Wyly Theatre is sure to have something for you. Beyond the productions themselves, the theatre itself is a delight. The design is modern and elegant, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is also top-notch, always friendly, helpful, and passionate about the arts. They go the extra mile to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for every visitor."
"The theatre is small and intimate. Every seat would be a good view. The cast, acting, singing, choreography, lighting, and set design were incredible quality! Professional! Like broadway! I was blown away. This was the best rendition of A Christmas Carol I’ve ever seen. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and dressed in festive attire! I had a great time! Pro-tip: get the digital tickets, you can screenshot them off the app or from an email and print them if you’re worried about not having wifi. There was a long line at will-call, so this will save you time. Also park in the Silver Lexus parking! Save time and hassle! (and ignore ALL of the reviews that say the seats are bad. They were totally normal seats and I sat criss-cross-applesauce in the seat easily without bothering the seat next to me. ) I sat in Mezzanine Center, Row: A Seat: 207"
"Amazing! First time for me to stop in and check this place out. Watched the Christmas Carol play, and they put on a great performance! Seating comfort varies. If you get balcony seating, it's a good view to below, but you will be quite uncomfortable. (Arching your back over to look down) Staff is welcoming and friendly. Parking isn't bad, in my opinion. I don't think they allow phones to record or take pictures. I didn't see one person attempting so either. That was nice, can't wait to come see other plays in the future. Truly well done."
"The Annual Christmas Carol Show with the family was nice. The facility was nice, bathrooms clean, and staff was mostly friendly and helpful. Someone else was sitting in our reserved seats and the usher told us to just find somewhere to sit, even though we picked out the seats we wanted, we didn't get to sit there. That was a huge bummer. Parking was a little outrageous."
