"The best! I love this theater! Great shows, great staff, always wonderful!"
"My friend and I attended a performance of Alabaster, thanks to the CulturePass program with the city of Dallas. The location of this theater is surprising (medical district just north of Oak Cliff), and the venue is humble and straightforward. There are concessions available and donations accepted. Despite the time of day (matinee showing), the performance was nearly sold out. I was overwhelmed with the moving performance and other members of the audience were also moved to tears. I was especially moved by the performance of Kristi Funk Dana as June. I wasn't expecting such a heavy and pensive play on a sunny Sunday afternoon but I am so glad I went. I am really grateful for the City Culture Pass program for putting this amazing theatre on my radar, and for Kitchen Dog Theatre for sharing such a great play. I am really looking forward to supporting future performances!"
"Saw "Pompeii", a Kitchen Dog Theater original. I was entertained the entire time. Extremely talented ensemble, terrific music, hilarious acting. I've never wanted to immediately see another showing of a production until today. The theater is intimate but the performance feels larger than you might expect."
"Saw the play Pompeii tonight which was written in house. One of the best plays/ productions that I have ever seen. The actors were fantastic, the plot captivating, the jokes witty, and the music catchy. I have never seen my husband belly laugh so many times in my life. It is astonishing that the play was written by those at kitchen dog theater. If I hadn't known otherwise, I would have believed it was a famous play. I was entirely enthralled the entire production. If you are considering coming here, please venture out; it will be worth it."
