"The quality of the meat here is superb! They carry grass fed beef and organic chicken. You can see and taste the difference. The smoked sausages are also wonderful. We really like the spicy beef and turkey smoked sausages. We drive 40 minutes to come here because we really enjoy the quality of the meat and great service. All the meat is halal and we have been very happy with everything we have purchased here."

"Found this place online when looking for a local meat market! Much more selection than grocery stores and the meats all looked absolutely delicious! I got a prime tomahawk for a great deal and it looks mouthwatering. I highly recommend! Has many cuts that simply aren’t available at grocery stores & has competitive pricing to grocery stores. I always love supporting local businesses! If you’re considering trying, just do it! You won’t regret it! Oh & the staff was extremely nice!!"

"This place is outstanding. Not only is the quality of meat very high but the staff is extremely nice. On my first visit I picked up some 4 inch T-Bones, vegetables; and some sausages (lamb and turkey). They have become my go-to butcher for quality meats. Pictures are from my first visit. Raw meats pictured had not been cleaned up yet. Cooked in a smoker and seared smoking."

"I’ve been coming to Austin Meat Market for almost a year now and can’t begin to tell you how much we appreciate the quality of their halal meat. The owner is passionate about his business and you can tell how much he has invested in it over the past few months. It’s really nice to have Turkey deli to various steaks, sausages and chicken. "This small mediterranean-like market is very nice, clean, well organized and the location is accessible near many small businesses. There is a lot of original and authentic products from Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia and Palestine. The meat is halal and very high quality( I took some lamb and beef and it was the best I've ever tried here in north Austin), the prices are affordable too. The owner and the personnel are very polite, friendly and very helpful, Abdul helped us a lot in getting the products we wanted and took more time to show us the items of our native country. I just wanted to tell him about some items where we can't find the price tag..it would be perfect to display every price with item. Otherwise this is my preferred small market from now on, and I highly support and recommend it for everyone..and more for the mediterranean people living here in north Austin."
