"Staff was wonderful, portions were huge, atmosphere was exceptional. I've been here 3 times and each time the food didn't taste good. I'm planning on going again, 1 more time, to see if the chef has just had a rough couple of months. If it's better, I will change to 5 stars."

"This is the first steak house I’ve been to that didn’t serve bread. And there was not a side salad available. The steak was average as were the sides. Just nothing spectacular here. The chicken fried chicken was also average. The place is nice and looks like a steak house and there is a great bar area and patio."

The portions were good. The Buffalo chicken bites were awesome. I usually don’t like that spicy but the flavor was great. We also had the pork chops and they were also very tasty. The recipe will be far different than you have prob ever had before but pleasantly satisfying. The cheeseburger was very good too. I had to try a bite since everyone loves cheeseburgers and it looked well prepared. If you are in the area visiting or driving thru to lake Conroe, give this place a chance. It looks like an old barn on the inside and you definitely have that Texas feel."
