"Best unexpected surprise Ive had in a while. YES, this place is adjacent a gas station....but wow! Friendly staff, prompt service and surprisingly good. The catfish and shrimp were very good, green beans slightly addictive and a nice salad to start things off. This is not a big fancy place, just small friendly and delicious."

"We stumbled across this place while looking for a home in Sealy. The Google reviews were very promising. As we entered, Donna greeted us warmly, turned down the TV that had the game playing above our booth and walked us through the entire menu. Started off with the shrimp cocktail. and she brought us a taste of both the gumbo and étouffée .Wound up ordering the dinner for 2 which included two salads two bowls of gumbo, two sides and 30 shrimp. The gumbo was amazing. The mashed potatoes are made from scratch, and the shrimp are jumbo not little bitty things. We will definitely return !"

"I had the jalapeño bacon cheeseburger and it was good. The bacon crispy and the meat patty had the perfect about char to it. My co worker got a ribeye and said it was cooked to a perfect medium with boosted lot of flavor and juice. Iam looking forward to going back and trying some seafood. I highly recommend river hills seafood and steak in Sealy, Tx."

"When we first arrived, I was a bit sceptical since this is inside a gas station. But, the food was great. We had a very pleasant waitress. The menu is huge too! Almost anything you want. It all looked great. I had bacon wrapped shrimp... AMAZING! You have to try this place."

"I want to preface my review with the fact that this place is attached to a gas station, but do not let that discourage you because the food is awesome. I ordered the 16 ounce ribeye with slaw and a side salad (watching the carbs). My steak was cooked to order(medium) and had the perfect balance of salt and steak seasoning. The slaw was excellent and complimented the flavors from my steak."
