"Several years ago my daughter got hurt there before they started doing release forms, we went to help with tack and her nose was busted on the rocky dirt road. There was blood everywhere. They were indifferent and didn't even offer first aid or anything for her. We are a large family and the owner did not seem to keen on having us there but yet kept the farm open knowing that she had just had a new baby foal born that morning. She was very rude to my children and very short tempered. Being a homeschool mother and community group leader this would be a place that I would recommend had I had a good experience. She didn't seem very happy to have a large family there, or that she just wasn't in the mood to teach etiquette without being snippy and rude. Which my kids don't respond well to. We never went back and based off of that initial experience never would go back again."
"My son and I had the pleasure of meeting beautiful animals and learned a lot of interesting animal and farm life facts during a field trip. Unfortunately, it seemed as thought the adults running the events weren't comfortable interacting with the 3rd grade age group. I heard several adults shaming the kids for acting age appropriate. Not to mention we have neurodivergant people in the group who truly struggle to stay still, quiet and actively listening. I would encourage you to learn what to expect from a developing human and those with neuoroligical disabilities that put them years behind their fellow classmates. Shaming kids isn't the way to go, I was so dissappointed."
"Our Kindergarten classes visited and we all had such a wonderful time. We learned about the animals there and got to pet the baby goats. The staff was helpful and very kind. It is a great field trip opportunity!"
"My family and I love this place. Love the people and animals. It feally is a slice of beaven. We could spend hours there"
"This educational farm is a wonderful destination with lots of activities for kids and adults alike. We went during the Christmas holiday, and (in addition to all the animals) there was a fantastic hayride in which we stopped at different locations around the farm for our host to tell the Christmas story. We ended at the live nativity, which the kids loved! We also enjoyed hot cocoa, roasting marshmallows, playing on the jump pillow, a gigantic slide, and launching pumpkins with a giant sling shot. My favorite attraction was Zeus, the donkey who had a hilarious personality and followed my son around demanding his attention. It is well worth the $8 cost of admission. I wish we had gone earlier in the day because we could have spent the entire day there. Loved every minute!!!"
