"We truly enjoyed our dining experience. Great food, excellent service (Erica, our waitress, was the best), great ambiance/vibe, and nice music that complimented the whole dinner experience, but still allowed us to enjoy good conversation with each other without screaming over it to hear each other. The music thing was a big deal for me because I’ve visited a few black owned restaurants recently that made me feel like I was in a club instead of a restaurant. I don’t mind some nice music playing in the background, but not when it’s so loud I can’t hear what the other folks are saying at my table. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great date night spot, celebrating a special occasion, or just want to go out for a nice meal at a restaurant with a great vibe. We will definitely be back!"

"DJ’s did not disappoint! We came out for the first time to celebrate a friends birthday and the food was amazing! Our server Derrick gave great service Everything was cooked fresh and tasted fresh. Our party ordered an array of options. Fried Catfish for the birthday girl, we ordered the stuffed turkey leg w/dressing and a side of collard greens & Mac & cheese, had a taste of the oxtails my mother ordered which I thought was very good, even their burgers are good but the star of the dinner was the fried stuffed pork chops! And u can get them grilled.I didn’t order but 2 other friends ordered had to taste was absolutely seasoned and fried to perfection and the stuffed parmesan cheese inside OMG! So good. Even the drinks were good! The chef came out and introduced herself I believe her name is Ariel she asked how things were and how the food was. Really liked that the staff was very attentive to our party. Derrick even went as far as bringing out a slice of cake w/a candle so we could sing happy birthday to our friend! The atmosphere very cozy and inviting, upscale vibe and everyone was dressed to impress even the servers. And as for music a little ol school r&b complimented the vibe. Everyone agreed the food was delicious and we all had a great time. Only negative thing was the parking (which is limited near the restaurant) and they charge $10 for valet Also all the entrees are a bit pricey but you get very large portions had so much food left over for another’s nights dinner lol so mainly because of the food and service I would highly recommend for a night out w/friends, family or a romantic evening."

"Fast and friendly service. Great food and awesome atmosphere. The only thing I didn't like was the Dirty rice. It had no flavor nor seasoning but everything else was spot on. The sides were huge. Next time I would share a side. The amount of food you get is worth the price. We will be back!"

"Oh wow! This food overall was fantastic. It took everything in my soul to eat the Jazzy Wings like I had a little home training. I would recommend if ordering an appetizer for the table to order two. The chicken breast was moist and tender. Would definitely recommend. Now, the alcoholic beverages is truly alcoholic beverages. I don’t drink much but my girlfriends wanted to have drinks and I will say drinks should be “drink”. The service was fantastic D and Shaw took great care of us. We will be coming back soon!"
