Warbler Vista
About the Business
Warbler Vista is a beautiful park and tourist attraction located in Marble Falls, Texas, United States. Due to the high demand to view the total solar eclipse in the Austin area, access to Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge, including Warbler Vista, will be by vehicle reservation only on April 8, 2024. The refuge is home to native Texas wildlife and plants, including the endangered golden-cheeked warbler and black-capped vireo. Visitors can unplug and connect with nature by hiking the foot trails, observing wildlife, and enjoying the rugged landscape. The National Wildlife Refuge System, managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, focuses on wildlife conservation and protection. While originally established for two endangered species, the conservation efforts benefit all wildlife in the area. Hunting regulations are in place for the 2022 season, and the refuge works with partners to enhance habitats for the benefit of the American people. "You can get lost on this trail. Make sure to keep a good eye on splits and getting of path. Recommend a hiking stick and keep hiking manners in mind on thin trails. Love this place...... it's absolutely stunning and good for the soul. Anyone who is able bodied can do this hike but if out of shape, you'll get winded. Bring water... Ideally in a hiking bag. To be clear , this is the Warbler Vista, out near Lago Vista. There's another one in Bertram which is also great- Doeskin Ranch. Review for that can be found in my public reviews"
"Absolutely loved these trails! None were too extreme, the trails are well maintained and clearly marked. The sunset deck is a must! I bet it is super pretty in the evening, will be back!"
"Nice trails for a fairly easy hike. Lots of trees to cut the wind and provide shade. Very few hikers at 8:00am."
"I liked the short trail to Sunset Deck. We Parked at lower parking at the entry of cactus rocks trail, parking and trail entry was free. The view from Sunset Deck is amazing."
"This was one of the best hikes I’ve ever done in my life. This place is a true GEM in our country! You will NEVER forget this place once you’ve been here. I don’t want to give up the details as to why, you have to experience it with your own senses for yourself to know what I’m talking about! Pure Perfection of Mother Nature at this place. This place has a presence to it. I can’t put my finger on it but a definite strong energy from here. It really uplifts your spirit!"
