"I have so much appreciation for Northwest Hospital, especially the ER, pediatric, and PICU departments. Illness is often overwhelming. With the uncertainty, fear, and emotions that arise, it can be difficult to process information in real time. In those moments, we need patient, empathetic, clear, and reassuring healthcare providers. That's what I am receiving from the pediatric and PICU teams at NWTHS. I feel my child is in the best medical hands, and I am engaging with professionals who genuinely care about him. This makes a difficult experience easier to navigate. This also makes Northwest my hospital of choice."
"My father in law was admitted on Valentines day, also his 93rd birthday, for 8 days. His procedures went exceptionally well. The nursing care on his floor , A tower 4th floor, was awesome. They were very attentive to his needs. Can't thank them enough for the care and attention they gave him. Special thanks to Candice and the little blonde nurse originally from Georgia, sorry I can't remember her name, for going above and beyond to see Reuben had best possible care. We highly recommend Northwest Hospital."
"We took my father in on Monday because he fell and was in severe pain. We told them that he was diabetic and hasn't been taking care of his diabetes. We told them that he is unstable on his feet and hasn't been there 100% in conversations. While there he urinated on himself and on the floor. They only did x-rays on his shoulder and after almost 11 hours of being there, wrote a prescription for weak pain pills. On Tuesday he was worse so we took him to bsa. They got him in instantly and checked his blood sugar. It was over 500. He spent the night In icu, and the good staff of bsa has him in stable condition. He almost died because of the unprofessional doctors at northwest. Their negligence almost got them a lawsuit."
"Labor and delivery experience was second rate. The room had a weird stain on the floor and wall that resembled blood. The bathrooms, both in room and in the waiting areas, were disgusting. Took forever to get into a room, and it was incredibly small and jail-like. Staff was ok at best, and it seemed like they were faking their bed side manor. It to take way too long to get any information, and like 3/5 staff were not quite sure what to do. Lots of room for improvement."
"I worked in law enforcement and the justice system for several years. These pictures are what I would see in the jail. The steel commode as well the small wash basin. The lack of a door or privacy was disturbing. Individual could look thru the window at whatever business I had going on. The curtain which was supposed to cover the area did not. There were food items on the floor from the previous patient. I was there for 4 days and will be admitted again for surgery on Monday of this next week. My bedding was never changed nor was I asked if it needed to be done. I am the one that inquired about a shower. When I was told that this was a community style shower I was shocked. There is more but I would like to speak to someone about the issues."
