"I’ve lived here two and a half years, and would not recommend since the management change. Rent increases every year significantly even if you resign 9 months in advance. Should you email them regarding any issue they wish not to deal with, they will ignore you over and over. If you go in the office to talk to them, you will likely get the run around. Otherwise, the floor plans are nice and offer privacy. Maintenance is relatively responsive and they are nice people. Also, the nearby bus stop is really convenient. If you’re reading this looking for a college apartment, drop the greedy apartments here in Lubbock and rent a house instead."
"Terrible! Very unsafe and rude management. Multiple car break ins, including mine, and multiple house break ins! Many homeless people in the area. Management is the worst, my roommates and i had many issues throughout our lease and no one cared. Very expensive for a small space. And you recurve a ridiculous utility bill per Roomate. The average utility bill was $110 PER PERSON and we were hardly home. All 4 of us were full time students and worked part time. Only positive is the maintenance guys are nice and answer requests in a timely manner."
"Update: With the new wifi provider, you can only have 5 devices connected to your internet at a time... TLDR: Maintenance sent a rusted blade though our window and management ingnored us for 4 months about it, wifi is out daily (not even exaggerating), and cops are in the complex every weekend due to the awful security. None of the amenities were open until the end of the school year. They also reward people for giving good reviews, so take them worth a grain of salt. A couple of months after moving in, a member of their maintenance was doing lawn work and a rusted, metal saw blade broke of their tool and flew into our window. They never came to check to damage. After we reported it, we never heard anything back from the office for months. Every weekend we had drunk people walking to the front of our apartment and pulling glass off the window making the hole in it even bigger, and leaving glass all over our porch. We tried calling the office for months to get them to at least cover the damage until they deemed it worth their time to repair it but were told we'd have to email the office manager who proceeded to ignore all of our emails. After FOUR MONTHS they finally did something about the window. They never even came for the saw blade, it's still sitting in our living room. And this is just the window problems. The wifi goes out every other day, we have a bedroom in our apartment that is consistently 5 degrees hotter than the rest of the apartment but they say it's too bad, they added in "fenced in" lounge areas but didn't secure the fences so now every weekend we have cops showing up at our door because of parties and glass bottles being thrown right by our apartment. Do yourself a favor, avoid this management like the plague."
"The unit itself was nice and is a good distance from campus. The management is despicable and rude being the greatest downfall of living here, they don’t care about anyone. I did not have a desk that I was paying for 11 months out of my 12 month lease. Upon move in I did not have my furniture in my room and had eyes rolled at me then was spoken to in a condescending tone. Which once again I paid for this and I have to be rudely spoken to for an error on their end? Maintenance staff is excellent and always responsive, they should get paid more for the lack of the management. Which get ready, management is always “out of office” guess they never come to the premises?"
"I hated living here. Management is rude. But I give maintenance the 1 star because they’re amazing. Also when you move out they’ll try to charge you for everything. Me and my roommates rented out a carpet cleaner to clean and vacuum the carpet. We were still charged almost $60 each because of “carpet cleaning”. They recently added a sprinkler system so walking your dog is a mess because it was always muddy. Also I didn’t get to use any of the amenities while I was there until the last couple weeks before my lease was over. Utilities was the worst because we were charged so much. They claimed that it was because of the A/C so when we left for winter break we all turned it off but was still charged the same as the other months. Also their “estimated” final billing was doubled what we actually owed but that’s a different story because utilities isn’t included with the collective. Overall I didn’t really have a good experience with the collective. The management is super strict on everything and they’re just mean in general."
