"Absolutely rude, condescending and unhelpful. I came in to this office today because it was the most convenient and all I needed was my card reloaded. A woman asked for my name and I told her, but explained I didn’t have an appointment and I was just there to reload my card. She said that’s something I need an appointment for but she’d take me. She clearly was annoyed I was there and let it show. Mind you there was only one other person there. Once I gave her my card she asked why I was coming to this location and I explained. I asked if I was able to come to any location to reload my card and she said yes but that it would cancel any future appointments I had. She then told me I didn’t have any future appointments so at this point it shouldn’t have mattered. She told me to sit down and she’d be with me in a few minutes. Within 30 seconds of me sitting across the room she yelled and asked why I hadn’t taken an online class. I walked back up and told her I wasn’t aware of any classes. Then she snapped back and told me I needed to complete a class before she would reload my card and handed me a piece of paper. Before I could do anything she began berating again and asking why I was coming to this location and where I wanted to have my future appointments. I told her again I was just coming here the one time and that my other location doesn’t require appointments and that you can just walk in. She snaps again and goes “well that’s Travis county, this is Williamson and we do things differently.” Noted. The things you do differently are being extremely rude and argumentative. I eventually told her to give my card back and her attitude instantly changes. “Oh no, I can help you” she now says in a lower, nicer voice. I told her she clearly can’t because she just wanted to keep arguing with me and I was done. I left in tears. I then called the pflugerville wic office and asked if you’re able to go to any location to reload your card and she told me yes. I stopped by and the woman asked for my card and pin and that was that. No arguing, no third degree questioning, no attitude. Imagine that. This woman, who btw is a Hispanic woman I’d guess to be in her 50’s to 60’s needs to work somewhere else that doesn’t require customer service or empathy because she clearly doesn’t know how to treat people with dignity and respect."
"From the front office to the back they were so nice. The lady that interviewed us was so empathetic. After going through this process, due to not having any child support or anything, I definitely hope to give back to them. Amazing people."
"Always so helpful"
