"Great park for a family to hang out. Kids can have their own play time, and parents can walk or work out. Big kids and parents can also enjoy soccer time with their family or a sand ball, etc. Restrooms are available on the facility, and it's clean. You can enjoy a lake side view, sit, and talk. Great park."
"Plenty of practice space and room for games to be going on at the same time. We strolled through the fields some and found it to be decently graded with very little to no rocks, cracks, or pits. The day before it rained, a lot in a short amount of time, but everything has drained well. The sand volleyball pit was a loamy mess, but a nice addition for drier times; the net needs to be replaced. There are plenty of restrooms available here and in between that and a concession/maintenance building is a little park for the kids 3-10. Mulch on floor, and motion seems to be theme here. The parallel bar glides do not function well, but the rotating wheel bars spin easily if you're up for twisting and turning across a short run."
"From walking trails, cornfields, a pond to fish in, plenty of shaded spots, and, of course - those Texas longhorns - you won't be disappointed visiting Old Celina Park. A few longhorns are spotted alongside a paved walking trail close to the sports stadium if you happen to get lucky. Overall, it is a beautiful place for the whole family to gather to escape the noise from the city."
"A very nice park and it’s huge! There are soccer fields, baseball cages and also a beach volleyball area. They’ve also put up small goal posts for kids ages 2-5 to play around which is nice. The park also has play areas for small kids. There’s a lot of space for walking/jogging/running. You can even have a family outing here! They have a sheltered sitting area where you can relax or have food. There are restrooms available as well, in this park. Trash cans are located all throughout the park. They also have multiple baseball fields.. Lot of space is available for parking. The park has 2 entrances as far as I could see which opens up to a big parking lot, so there’s ample parking space here."
"The first time we visited was for a fall festival last October. It was hosted by a local church and they brought in a train ride, games, petting zoo, food, drinks and more for free. It was a great little event and the fire department brought an engine out and let kids get in for pictures as well. Hope they do it again this year! It was a lot of fun! The playground is very well made with lots to do and very clean. The bathrooms are also pretty clean as well. Will return many times in the future!"
