Stonegate Apartments

"The on site staff that I've met are amazing and friendly. I have a friend that has lived there for quite some time that I regularly visit. The only and biggest drawback is the entrance is the most dangerous gate ever in all of Amarillo. There used to be a code you could just punch in to open the gate, however they switched this to where a visitor now needs to buzz the apartment number. This system is the most horrendous system ever! It's NOT self explanatory, it's extremely difficult to get to anybodies apartment number, and by the time you do you've built up a LONG line of cars waiting behind you. The provided photos are the reason I state this is the most dangerous entrance. There were 19 cars waiting in 3 rows for the person stuck at this inferior gate system to get the gate open. This meant that cars were stuck within the road itself which almost caused 2 accidents. The apartment complex needs to seriously update this archaic, and horrendous call feature and just go back to assign a code! There have been multiple times emergency vehicles like ambulances and firetrucks cannot enter into the gated community because they too can't figure out how to hold either A or Z to scroll through a HUGE list of apartment numbers then hit call in hopes that the person in trouble can answer! My suggestion the apartments and management are great, but if you actual want to have safety (not causing car accidents), emergency services, or have friends/family stuck outside then stay far away from Stonegate. This is by far the most dangerous complex because they won't put in a system that keeps people safe!"

"My daughter and I have lived here for about 8 months and we absolutely love it here!! The neighbors are all very friendly and respectful. The office staff, Crystal, is amazing. She has always been so very quick to help, with anything we have needed. The grounds are always kept trimmed and beautiful !! We are very happy here!!!"

"We have lived here for almost 3 years now, and we have never had problems. When we needed maintenance, the team was quick and helpful. The office staff is always nice. Also, I spent almost every day of my summer at their pool and it was so nice."

"I have enjoyed living at Stonegate. It is safe and quiet, and everything in my apartment is in good working order. Considering the size of the apartment, I have plenty of storage space. The trash is always picked up which I really appreciate. I love having covered parking. My only complaints are aethetic. When I moved in, the carpet was clean but in rough enough shape that I think it should have been replaced. It had/has two holes the size of quarters burned into it, and it wasn't/isn't attached to a tack strip around the laminate entrance, therefore it is fraying. It is also obvious that during make ready, they just "touched up" the paint in lots (and lots) of places because the paint doesn't match; it isn't even the same sheen. That said, most of the other things that I identified on my move in paperwork were corrected immediately after I moved in."
