"Clean facility, great location, friendly and helpful staff members, and fast and convenient schedule availabilities for therapy sessions."
"Greeted everytime I come in. Easy process to make appointments that fit my schedule. Every therapist I have interacted with has been kind and helpful to get me from my starting point after surgery to being able to continue improving daily for the life I want to live where I can use my body to the best of my ability. Thank you for helping me along my journey."
"**UPDATE** I received an additional bill on 4/12 for this service where they are now asking for additional money. They billed my insurance almost $900 for this service and are now asking me to cover the difference of what the insurance did not cover. Charging $900 for a 45 minute PT session should be illegal. I already paid them $360 for the session which was already crazy. Original posted below: I think the therapist did a great job, but everything else was a mess. I scheduled my post ACDF treatment here because it was convenient and close to work. When I set up the initial appointment, I asked what the sessions would cost and was given a range of ~$260 to $360. I have 3 sessions/week prescribed so that is quite a lot of money, and literally 2-3x what I have paid elsewhere pre-surgey, but I value quality and service over cost. Cost does matter though. I go to my first session. It lasts about 45 minutes (11:12-11:57). I do some range of motion exercises and answer a lot of questions. No special equipment or any equipment other than the therapist and a table. Get done and am told the cost is $450 for the session. I protest and ask why. The receptionist disappears and returns to tell me it is now $360 with no explanation. I had to ask what changed, and what I can expect the sessions to cost because now it is becoming cost prohibitive. I was told the extra was because the therapist had to put their hands on me for therapy (I can attest this happened). She cannot tell me exactly how much it will be, so I have no way to budget or plan for potentially $8100.00 in PT in the next 6 weeks vs $4600-$6400 that I was quoted initially. These things matter. She offered to give 30-minute sessions at ~$220 1x weekly but could not answer me when I asked if that aligned with what my surgeon is recommending (it does not). All this and her attitude that came along with it was not something worth tolerating. Especially at this hyper inflated rate. The line was forming behind me so I paid and told her I would be calling later to talk about this. When I called later to try to figure out what the sessions are going to cost, the same lady answered. She told me she had already answered my question and if I needed to protest my bill, I had to call the billing dept (I was not calling to protest my bill). I was offered that the therapist would call me later to help explain better. Also, quite a bit of attitude on the call as was in person. I did receive a call later from the manager who was nice and explained things to me in a more thoughtful and helpful way. She explained the billing structure and why it is difficult to know exactly what each session will cost. I get this, but when you give a range of cost, this should account for the min and max cost. She also explained that because they are part of Memorial Hermann system, that they bill like a hospital. This feels like an excuse to overcharge people. It is not a hospital. They do not have any equipment that I could see that was different from the other places I have been. I am not sure how this is ethical or sustainable. At the end, I felt satisfied that the manager did take the time to discuss with me in a non-confrontational way. I did end up cancelling all my appointments though, mainly because I don’t want to have to deal with the front house staff anymore. I felt it was disrespectful and I don’t care to pay a premium to feel like that. That is not good service. Lots of other quality options out there."
