"If you like your boundaries respected, do not plan to birth your child here. Ms. Monica Mann pushed her personal beliefs onto my family and when we did not agree and asked to speak with another pediatrician, she threatened to file us for medical medical neglect to the state if we did not comply with her. The birth of our daughter was supposed to be an exciting moment for our family, but with the chaos she caused we did not get to fully enjoy welcoming our daughter into the world. It has been over a year since the incident has happened and are still upset with our experience. We spoke with other staff members who also agreed we had every right to feel violated. We spoke with the director of the hospital even and she expressed her remorse and would follow up with us about the course of action they would take. Still waiting for that phone call…"
"The receptionist treated me badly just because she speaks Spanish. She is dark-skinned and fat, the lady in the first window from right to left. She would not recommend the clinic at all."
"They canceled my appointment 2 weeks before. After having my appointment on the books for 2 weeks now, they decided they no longer wanted to have new patients. This is my FIRST pregnancy and I am traveling in 2.5 weeks. I have a lot of medical issues and needed my FIRST appointment secured before hand. Now I have no idea what to do and no one will take me now since the wait times to get an appointment with anyone is ridiculous. We had been calling around almost everyday to see if we could get in even sooner than that, with no success. Maybe grandfather in people you had already booked or actually assisting them with a secured appointment before dropping them? The "no new patients" policy you decided to put in effect TODAY should apply to those who haven't scheduled yet. Great way to cause a pregnant women so much stress and anxiety."
"If you want medical grade professionals turn around. So far I have needed to pick up three fertility test kits from this location. The first time they told me ‘you can drop this off at any Baylor lab!’ Wrong. There’s only an hour hold time for this sample so that’s test one ruined. Second attempt they packed the wrong sample kit. I’m not even sure how an accredited lab does this. Anyways second attempt ruined. We’re on our third attempt now without high hopes. I tried to speak with a supervisor but of course the supervisor isn’t present and I’ll need to call a customer support line. Literally this lab is full of unsupervised employees. What do you think could go wrong? If you’d like to speak with the supervisor… we’ll there’s not a direct number so get ready to wait in a queue talking to a robot answering service. So far I’ve wasted 3.5 hrs of my time trying to complete a simple test. Hopefully this will save someone some time. I don’t know if my wife and I will conceive but I do know the medical care from Baylor will not be of any assistance."
"Horrible! I saw people were complaining of a facility charge, so I specifically asked if there would be a facility charge for seeing one of the doctors in the clinic building off of University because I am a self-pay patient and shop around. I was told there was NO facility charge. Ends up I received a bill today nearly EQUAL to the physician's bill. Never again. I will be canceling the follow up appointment/further testing at this facility. This is completely unethical, and I feel like this was a bait & switch scam. How can I make good choices when my estimates are so wildly off. It was exactly as I told them when making the appointment."
