"I’ve been here every six months for two years. Every nurse I’ve had is GREAT! They’re attentive, kind, knowledgeable and hard-working. The front staff is great as well. There is soft music playing, comfy recliners, blankets and pillows always available, and drinks and snacks! It’s a convenient location for anyone on the north side of Houston. I’m so glad to call this place the home of my infusion therapy!"
"I have been coming to this infusion center for over a year now. I would like to say that this is one of the most peaceful experiences I have had. The nurses and office staff are polite and caring. They go above and beyond to make sure my experience is a pleasant one. There are coffee and snacks if you need one. They will offer you a blanket and pillow to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. The chairs are adjustable by remote which makes getting up easier. There is always soft, soothing music that is playing to lull you off to sleep. The bathrooms are always very clean, which is a big plus in my book. They also work hard to help during insurance snafu's or other bumps in the road of my treatment path which is very helpful. Once a month I spend 6+ hours here. I am so glad they are a part of my medical team. Thank you for your support."
"When I received my diagnosis, I had no idea what an infusion center was. I am fortunate to have the best experience possible at Paragon. Rebecca, my nurse, is exceptional - the friendly caring and warmth she shows is mirrored throughout the center's personnel. Questions are answered with authentic concern for the patient's well-being - you feel like you are talking to a knowledgeable friend. I can't imagine a better way to receive treatment and I am sincerely grateful."
"I read the other reviews and wanted to add my comments having been coming here almost 2 years. 6 hours 2x per month. I too have had rough instances where finding a vein was difficult but some of that is age. It is frustrating on both sides but it does not happen every time. After this length of time, you take what you can get. The Staff: awesome, patient, constantly asking if I'm doing ok (yes, of course) and just good people. I am a veteran of IVs so the people who help you make the difference. I know nothing about their medical duties but I do know they treat everyone well. We have great personal conversations so they are approachable and have a sense of humor. For those who have had a bad experience, it is unfortunate. I became quite ill while receiving a treatment once.and everyone was great. They called EMS quickly and were very professional.. It had nothing to do with the infusion...it was the result of my condition. These are my observations and everyone has a different lens. I like 'em!"
"Do not use this place or any locations if you have a choice. (Side note they dont let anyone to come with you to be there, so you have to get infusions alone). Keep in mind, that I always allow 2-3 business days for people to do their jobs. So I waited 2-3 days and called them to let them know they got a fax for my referral. Then I called to ensure that they received confirmation from my insurance. Then I called to ensure that I don't need my bloodwork done, they weren't sure, I had to explain and let them know that I have had it recently done, they asked for the email. I waited 4 days and called to check if they received my email, they never even checked the email. Then I had to tell them what pages to look at. 4 business days before my infusion apt, they called me to tell me that they are out of network (technically) so I will be responsible for $1250.00, then it was updated to $750.00. They wanted me to pay right away too. I always gotten it for free. They waited 2 weeks to call me. They overcharge for everything. $345.00 for a new patient fee, the drug itself, the services they provide. I normally get charged $65K for it and this place billed my insurance $98K. The infusion itself was tolerable, but they do talk to you like you dont know what you are doing and a neurse practitioner acted like she is my neurologist, which I find inappropriate. When I called stating that these are outrages charges a guy Derryl said that "you dont pay for this your insurance did". I guess he doesnt know who is paying for the insurance... I am not paying $345.00 new patient bill and I'll make sure I do everything that my insurance does not work with you. Shame on all of you."
