"Usually I don't have issues with this clinic. Today, they CANCELLED my appointment without notice or reason. I had to go to round rock to get help."
"I was there at 6:55 PM only to be informed that they see their last patient at 6:50 PM . Why advertise your closing time as 7:30 PM then ?"
"STAY AWAY! I went yesterday 12/27/23 to the georgetown location, as I've been there before. I don't currently have insurance. My 9yo daughter tested positive for strep and flu A 12/26/23. I am getting married on Sunday, 12/31/23. Her pediatrician started her on an antibiotic for strep and tamiflu since we caught it early and to shorten time of symptoms since my wedding is sunday. Pediatrician also started my 5yo son on a profalactic dose of tamiflu to reduce his chance of catching it. I woke up yesterday with a cough, body aches, diarrhea. I'm around my kiddos all the time so thinking surely I've caught the flu, and no insurance, the minute clinic would be my best option. All of my tests came back negative, likely too early since symptoms just started that morning. I asked the NP for a profalactic dose of Tamiflu bc of my upcoming wedding and confirmed positive in my house, along with my own symptoms. The NP told me you can only get Tamiflu if you test positive. She lied to my face! I explained how thats not true, my son's pediatrician didn't even see him but gave him a preventative dose due to his sister's positive test. She then changed her answer and said well its their protocol they only prescribe for positive test. I pleaded with her to have some sympathy due to my wedding in 4 days! This lady had no sympathy, no bedside manner, very unfriendly and didn't care. She said she'd call her doctor and ask. He never answered so I paid $194, and no Tamiflu. She said I could come back if I got worse and I told her being self pay, that's not feasible. She said when she got a hold of the doctor she would give me a call. Guess what, no phone call ! Avoid this place, they don't care about you and have no sympathy, or at least whoever the NP was yesterday (older, African American lady). Will never be back here after this experience! UPDATE: The NP called me back and said I have to have the flu before getting tamiflu. I told her yet AGAIN that's nor true because my son was given tamiflu by his pediatrician without even being seen. She said "okay well you have a good day" and hung up as I was asking to speak with someone else. I will be filing a formal complaint on this woman! So rude and unprofessional."
"Before today's appointment this was our go to location to be seen. Today, ultimately everything changed for me. I had an appointment and waited over 30 minutes without any apology. The nurse practitioner's 1st concern was how will I pay today. This was the most uneducated woman I've ever met in my life. I came in to be seen for possible bronchitis. Not only did she barely check my lungs properly but she was determined to give me some kind of medicine (without any record or proper diagnosis of asthma) she kept insisting to give me an inhaler, the acid reflux medication (I don't even have acid reflux!!!). She kept staring at her computer to see what medicine she could prescribe to me as if it was a requirement. When I rejected her cough medicine I could purchase over the counter she turned to my husband and thought she could make money off him and see if he's sick. In addition, she insulted me by several times asking my husband and I if we were upset about not getting antibiotics. I don't know what kind of customers she gets or the business she runs. But I am far from those people who would like medication. If you as a medical professional believe I have bronchitis then of course I would like proper treatment and educate me on what you know and not what google tells you! But don't insult me or offer to sell me ricola candy I already take just because you need to prescribe something or think you can make a business out of my husband who is not even sick! Moving forward, I am not coming to this place unless I get the other 2 lady's we've previously seen who are much educated and know what they are talking about. I would never trust to bring my family to this place again, let alone my kids. As far as I am concerned you should remove this NP from your facility! Thank you for wasting my time, my husband's time from work and our money. Thank you for prescribing your nonsense."
"Got an appointment same day using the web app to remove some splinters. The physician was patient and took efforts to make sure all the bits of wood got out of the skin. Very professional. My go-to for a Minute Clinic. Definitely book ahead!"
