"TLDR: Go here. Now. (NOTE: My review is specific to the South Austin location.) If like me you’ve heard horror stories about sleep studies in labs, and you’re tempted to avoid the whole thing and do a home study instead, learn from my suffering… Don’t. Go to Advanced Sleep Center instead. I wasted over four months jumping through hoops to get a home study, followed by a tragically mismatched CPAP prescription and disastrously managed mail order equipment. My doctor finally sent me here for an advanced titration study when that circus of a process failed me. I was reluctant. Boy, was my hesitation unnecessary. Rooms were quiet and comfortable, and my specialist Patty was simply amazing. She was clear, thorough, thoughtful, kind, and attentive. Thanks to her diligence, I got a better night’s sleep there than I’d had in a month, in spite of the power failing at 4:30 AM and having to abandon the final half hour of my study. Needless to say, I’d I trust Patty more than my doctor. The office staff were also knowledgeable and efficient. Special props to Ali. This is the place you want. Thank you, ASC. I am so grateful."

"I too think they do shady business. They said they didn’t take insurance so I paid 600$ for the machinery and was rushed out. I followed the directions to a T and returned the machine. I know for a fact I experienced apnea that night and they called saying the results were negative and there’s nothing they could do and I’d have to be referred to take the test again and pay again. Someone else said they paid 600$ for the machine it self. I never got a machine."

They had a calming and pleasant demeanor, patiently answering any questions I had and explaining everything they we’re doing."

"Quite pleased with the experience. The staff was great- super friendly. Both Shannon and Dana cared quite a bit about making sure I was happy and comfortable. The rooms were perfectly adequate for this purpose. This is a "sleep study" not a stay at the Ritz Carlton, but the rooms were clean, private, and they had places to put your phone and belongings. No, it wasn't as comfortable as my own bed in my own home..but that was expected.. If you have the right expectations, they will be well beyond exceeded. I felt safe and as a result I trusted the team. if you are considering having a sleep study done. Do it here with these nice people!"
