"Was visiting Austin. Never good to be I’ll away from home. First Urgent Care I went to had a 3 hr wait, no appointments, gave up your spot if you left the facility. Texas MedClinic Urgent Care let me schedule a visit online, complete paperwork online. When I arrived for the appointment had just a few minutes wait in the waiting room and then in the exam room. The physician was excellent. She called me promptly when my results were available later. Everything and everyone was just super."
"I'm leaving 5 stars because when we were seen they did a fantastic job of accessing my elderly aunts symptoms. They were compassionate, patient, and prescribed the right medication for her to get better. The only thing I didn't like is we waited a long time which we were warned about at the beginning. To be fair covid was really bad at the time and that last doctor we saw was worth the wait."
"All in all rather speedy and results oriented. Sorry about any trouble I caused or how short I was while I was suffering from the sore throat of the century. Not my best moment. Everyone treated me nicely despite my frustration and irritability. Everyone kept their cool so I could act like a child. I was taken seriously and given good care with excellent bedside manner, especially given my attitude. I like coming here but often the high price of my co-pay makes it hard to use this service."
"After not feeling well with stomach pain ect, I decided to come here. The online check-in process was easy and made everything much more convenient for the patients. I was seen early and the staff from the front desk to the assistants and doctors were all friendly. My doctor Ledet was so professional and made me feel so comfortable. The whole visit I was treated with respect and had all my questions answered. I would highly recommend this MedClinic to anyone needing assistance."
"I came to this place for recurrent chest pain later around maybe 8-9pm at night. To preface, I am in my early 20s- I did NOT believe I was having a heart attack or any kind of medical emergency, but I did want to be seen since the pain had persisted for 3-4hrs and it reached a point to where I couldn’t sleep or be comfortable but I was stable. The front desk woman I spoke to was not very nice but she did her job and was efficient, I feel. But the Dr on staff that night (he did not tell me his name or introduce himself really at all) was very rude. I could hear him before he even came in to examine me saying to the nurse “so what? She thinks she’s having a heart attack?” In what felt to be a very condescending way. I am not someone to normally make a fuss, but the way I feel he brushed me off and talked to me was very rude and unnecessary, and also not very professional. At some point he even said to me “so what exactly do you want me to do for you?” And kinda scoffed, I don’t know? You are the doctor. He didn’t even fully examine me, he only listened to my heart/me breathe, didn’t ask me about where the pain was specifically, didn’t ask me to describe it, didn’t ask how bad it was, nothing really. I personally feel he gave off that he did not want to help me and felt I was wasting his time. I did understand his point that if I was having a heart attack or medical emergency he was limited in his abilities to help me, but the way he worded these things to me felt rude, and had he told me he thought I needed to go to an ER instead, I would have 100% listened. This place just happened to take my insurance and was close and I would imagine to even be examined at an ER would have been substantially more expensive- but I also did not believe or feel that I was having a heart attack in my early 20s or I wouldn’t have been at an Urgent care. It turned out after a chest x-ray and EKG that I had Costochondritis which apparently does require a medical diagnosis. Overall I did get the help I was looking for at this clinic and the x-ray tech and nurse who helped me were both nice. And maybe I made the wrong decision going to an urgent care instead of an emergency room, but regardless my experience at this clinic was not exactly the best and maybe someone can take something from my experience when making a decision on where to get care from."
