NASA Flight Medicine Clinic Second Street, Houston, TX 77058

The NASA Flight Medicine Clinic, located on Second Street in Houston, Texas, is a health institution that offers a four-week Aerospace Medicine Clerkship twice annually during April and October at the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. The clerkship includes formal lectures on space medicine topics, familiarization with the medical aspects of International Space Station operations, and a research project and scientific poster presentation.

Applications for the October 2024 session are currently open and will close on June 1, 2024. The application process includes submitting a secure email platform and a Dean's recommendation letter. Selected participants will be responsible for their own costs during the clerkship, but will be provided with access to local housing options and a computer for research purposes.

During the clerkship, participants will have the opportunity to learn about various space medicine topics through presentations, lectures, and tours. The schedule includes activities from Monday to Friday, with no required activities on weekends.
