"Very grateful that I was able to be seen today! From the moment I walked in everyone was very welcoming, and nice. The doctor is amazing!! Definitely recommend this place!!!"
"Spoke with Connie over the phone, shes at the College Station clinic. Connie was an absolute pleasure to speak with. She is sooo very informative, she is attentive and took the time to thoroughly explain everything to me as well as was very patient with me and constant asked If I had any questions. She answered all of my questions with ease and grace. She is very knowledgeable in her field. Thank you sooooo soooo very much Connie. You made the call such a pleasant one."
"If you want the best help possible to get healthy with an amazing staff with great prices...look no further. I originally went somewhere closer to home and got no where paying double this and felt like I was hitting a wall. This place has been so informative and takes the time to explain everything in detail. Thank you, Get Well Clinic!"
"The penalties for HIPAA violations in 2023 range from $127 to $63,973. The penalties are broken down into four tiers: Tier 1: Lack of knowledge, with a penalty from $127 to $63,973 Tier 2: Reasonable cause and not willful neglect, with a penalty from $1,280 to $63,973 Tier 3: From $12,794 to $63,973 The penalties depend on the level of culpability. Criminal penalties can also be imposed for intentional violations, which can include fines and potential imprisonment. For example, a person who knowingly obtains or discloses individually identifiable health information may face a criminal penalty of up to $50,000 and up to one-year imprisonment. Now that part is out of the way I trust that I can speak candidly without fear of my PHI being exposed out of pure hatred. I gave three out of five stars to be fair. The fact is my experiences at this facility had been spectacular up to now. Which is disappointing given the way everything went downhill so quickly and for such trivial reasons. Here is my experience: The weight loss clinic experience is quick, informative and the products recommended were of high quality. The follow-ups were great and so was the office staff handling my requests, no issue there. I saw them over a period of 6-8 months for the WL clinic side of things and would say overall I was satisfied. The primary care side of things were a bit different. I don't think that the expectations were set as well as they could have been prior to me coming in. I came in for a annual exam and to discuss hormone therapy and possibly using Get Well Clinic as my PCP since I was new to the area. I did explain these things at the front desk and with the provider however judging from the flow of things it seemed as if the visit flowed more like a sick visit than a new patient on boarding. Mind you up to that point I had NEVER been there for any other reason than the WL clinic. It is not my place to set the expectations of what services the clinic provides and how. There was little guidance on how this works which became problematic in the end. I had to call twice since the appointment to have a RX sent over (and to be fair the provider did apologize about this and promptly issued a refund for the visit.) And yes, I was extremely irritated by the second call. The RX needed was not elective and needed to be started right away. However I was very clear with the person I spoke with that my irritation was not with them it was with the situation and even apologized about my tone. That did not deter what was about to happen next. I then received a backhanded apology text from the provider. Reminding me that I took too long to discuss my issues (45m) and then listing those issues off as if I do not live with them every day, and without my express consent to discuss my PHI via text. The text was closed by telling me that my call was inappropriate however we're sorry here is a full refund. Its the indifference for me! If you felt my issues were not appropriate for the clinical setting you operate then you could have let me know that to my face in a professional manner. Not with a snarky, sassy clap back via text and block. When choosing a provider it is an important decision. You have to make sure that it is a good fit and that the practice is capable of meeting your needs. There should be no topic off limits with your provider and if it is out of your wheelhouse then advise and refer out. The nastiness and indifference is uncalled for. I courted this place for ALMOST A YEAR. Spent plenty of good money and tons of good faith. At the end I was treated like a nuisance. Medical providers are trusted members of the community. There should be no reservation when seeking help and no threat of being HIPAA violated because a person was dissatisfied with the experience. Especially when that dissatisfactory experience was well warranted. The staff at the front desk and the CNA's were amazing though and much appreciated throughout my entire experience there. Sorry it had to end this way!"
