"My daughter spent time here fir about 2weeks, upon arriving home they dropped her of in the street and drove off... she had none of the clothes that were sent with her...Got her ready for a bath and her underwear were the same ones she left home wearing...smdh..Had to be thrown away..."
"i just want to individually thank tyler bobby keyana and jennifer for everything they did to help me. my night nurse jeannette was a nightmare and treated me as if i wasn’t even a regular human. she invalidated my feelings and made me feel crazy. i hope she gets fired but everyone else there was very kind and understanding of my situation so i just wanna thank y’all for everything."
"I'm heartbroken. Michelle in reception was kind, albeit she sounded a bit impatient with me at times during my over-the-phone needs assessment. I was seeking intake because I've been in obsessive ideation lately. I was denied intake because I have restrictive eating habits that lead me to sometimes have low blood sugar issues and they claimed that I needed to be somewhere with medical staff available in case I were to pass out... even though I clearly stated that between them having a dietician on staff and being on a strict eating routine would help me prevent this issue. This is the only location in Houston that transparently mentions on their website the modalities that I was interested in pursuing and also appears to be one of the safest facilities in the area for the needs I am looking to have addressed. I don't know. It just felt like a major let down, considering their reason for denying me felt as though they didn't see me as a person worthy of their care. The places I was referred out to are all full of bad reviews or are unresponsive and it's really discouraging to someone who's just trying to get better."
"They did what they could I guess? Not a horrible experience, but not one I would recommend to anyone. We reached out to this hospital looking for help and I was thankful they accepted my loved one. During her stay I do wish we got more information on treatment, but I was thankful I was able to be informed by her therapist on what would go on somewhat. There were a lot of times I could not get an update or even speak to her. I do feel that my loved one needed more care than what this hospital could offer. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of options for patients like my loved one and after your two weeks are up they will either find another (not good in my opinion.. assisted living) option or say she will just be released. My LO was in no state to even leave a hospital and ended back in another one the next morning. Hopefully, your loved one gets better in two weeks or they will be booted. Other than that I thought, it was a nice little facility. I liked some of the nurses, and the lady at the front desk. Although, one day another lady was sitting there and was very rude. The therapist I talked to was nice and seemed to care and did what he could. Honestly, this is the 4th hospital in the Houston area that I have had a love one go to and I would say this one was the best experience out of them. Unfortunately, it still was not the best and I hope our mental health care system gets better and they get more funding. My LO is now out of the second hospital after this one and is still not 100%. Guess we will have to figure this out on our own. Hope this helps!"
"I honestly loved this hospital. It was nothing like a psych hospital I've ever stayed at. The staff was amazing, caring, loving, and accommodating. HOWEVER, one of their staff members was manipulated by my con artist ex-boyfriend into giving him my health information against my wishes. They were not even supposed to admit that I was present at the hospital, much less give information on my care, diagnosis, treatment, and wellbeing. I know my ex is a psychological liar and he's also an actor misrepresenting himself as a medical doctor, but these people are there to protect us. And violating my HIPPA rights was downright wrong. I hope they can improve their staff training and make sure this never happens again."
